Something Special (Jamie)

[Tony Stark]

New York City looked pretty impressive, Tony was flying through the air for a bit of a freedom on his hands. Tony's Ironman suit had been refined with him tinkering a lot on it and fixing it so it wasn't so battle damage looking from earlier when he was in his own time. Sure there were a few scars on his armor but some people liked scars. Tony had also been out for a very important item to try and buy and it had been taking some time, he wanted it to be perfect.

"Well that was another successful day with taking care of some chores." Tony said as he landed on top of the Avengers building. It wasn't long before he got out of his suit and it changed down into a suitcase that he had branded several of his other armors with. It was an easy way to carry around despite being slightly heavy.

As Tony sat down on one of the benches he had a box that he opened revealing a shiny new diamond ring on it and closed it before anyone could see it. The real truth was he was planning on marrying Jamie. He had known her for ten years now, and he had never been happier. They were probably the best years of his life, and he had a few happy memories in his universe with the Avengers. However it was nothing like this. To be honest, he wasn't sure if he wanted to go back at this point. "The next part is figuring it out when to give it." He said with a sigh as he looked back at the entrance. He thought he heard someone come in and open the door. But to his relief there was no one there.

Carefully he stuffed it into his pants pocket so it'd be out of reach and out of sight at least for now. "But I think I have a few ideas on where." He said looking out towards central park. Heck Avenger's building was just as good. They had many marriages here from other super hero families, but he wanted his to be perfect. Although that might be a bit much.

Jamie had been having a training session she always wants to be in peak condition and be the best she could be. She then dodged some laser armed robots as they tried to shoot at her. She then drew her blade quickly and suddenly covered it in flames as she swings and smashed it into the robot causing it explode into pieces on the ground.She listened to what was commitment about her but also giving her some her some tips.The Computer Said something about Tony and Steve's records which she actually hoped to get to someday.

The computer know as JARVIS came over the speak with his british accent reminded her after stopping her session " Miss Starflame you are suppose to be meeting Mr. Stark in central Park i am sure he is waiting for you right now " Jamie smiled little and then responded to him " Thank you Jarvis I will be getting ready right now " She then goes to ready to go to park.She wondered what Tony wanted to speak to her about that they can't say at mansion but she sure it was something really private.

She and Tony has been in their relationship for a long time and to point where they can talk about anything . She into a basic outfit which was just blue jeans and t-shirt.She leaves the Tower in her car driving to park and going to their meeting place.She then remembered something really important this was the place where she first Met Tony and she wondered what was going on here"..hey...Tony..."She didn't know what she was going to say to him at moment.

Tony had been waiting a bit anxiously for Jamie to arrive, it was about noon time almost and just about everyone was busy getting lunch however he wasn't exactly interested in eating. He waited on a park bench with the metal outer side of it as it had some fashionable design on it to make it look appealing. Some blacksmith must've worked hard on it. He couldn't have asked for a better day since there were hardly any clouds in the sky so there was no chances of it raining on them.

Finally he looked up as a car drove up at the entrance as he saw Jamie come out and he looked relieved. He felt his heart pounding a bit as Jacosta started to warn him about it, "Sir your heart rate is increasing." Jocasta said. Tony knew she was just doing her job but he also didn't want anything to ruin this, even an AI who unknowingly might spoil it. "Jacosta please be quiet for another five minutes. It's nothing personal but this is important." Tony said in a shushed tone towards the AI who obeyed and went silent. Jacosta went silent and would be silent until Tony said otherwise since she obeyed him.

"Jamie it's good to see you again." Tony said knowing he saw her often. But he felt nervous and he knew Jacosta had every right to be concerned about his heart, it wasn't like it used to be at this point. "I was wondering something." He said as he cleared his throat and took out something that had been in his pocket. "Will you..." He found the words almost too hard to say as he felt nervous. He was really doing it. When he was in Ultron's world, he never thought this would happen.

"Will you marry me, Jamie? We've been friends for about 10 years now. And I'd love it if I could spend the rest of my life with you together." He said as he opened up the small box revealing the nice new diamond. It must've costed Tony a lot but he didn't mind. Diamonds were supposed to be flawless or even perfect, and Tony knew that it was going to the perfect woman ever. There was a lot on his mind as he handed it over towards Jamie. And the big one was floating through his mind, would she say yes?

Jamie smiled as he greeted her " it great to see you too Tony " she said as she kissed him.When she noticed that he had something important to say to her and went silent listened to his words. Jamie he sounded quite tense when he finally let them out her heart rate started to flutter.She couldn't believe he was finally asking this.She of course wanted this for long and has been waitting this moment "..oh..Tony....of course I will "She was very happy now when he puts the ring on her finger she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. This was one these moments that the press would go crazy for since she was famous rockstar.The press actually loved these moments and the wedding is definitely going something really big for both of them it being a superhero wedding as well because of it being a very famous team.

The magazines actually had hyped their relationship with rumors of them either splitting up or one of them cheating one another which was not true on her part.The Drama was actually really high at moment as she held on to him not wanting this to actually end.Tony just made her the most happiest woman in the world and she was going to make sure that they both going to have perfect life.When they was ready to speak again " so what are the plans...i met never been to wedding before...."

"To be honest, I'm not sure about the wedding. I figure we could give it a couple of months before we are finished. Weddings take a lot of work, especially with what I've seen from other avengers and their weddings." Tony said as he hugged her in return. Jamie probably felt how warm Tony was at that point, it had come with his Xtremis virus where the human body temperature was elevated quite a bit while he was in it. Although the Xtremis virus did have its good properties, Tony would probably live for a long period time, much longer than the average human and he had a healing factor from it too that'd take care of injuries, except for his heart that never fully healed.

"But I'm glad you approve, it took me a long time to try and find the right diamond and getting an excuse to leave the Avenger's building isn't always that easy sometimes." Tony said with a chuckle. Sometimes he left notes for others where he was going with his AI, Jarvis but often times it wasn't the truth since he had been going to a diamond store to go get something worth while. It took him maybe three or four trips before he was happy. "But I figure we could talk about some things over while we have lunch it is almost noon time after all." He offered if Jamie wanted to eat out by Central Park that would've worked for him too. He wasn't supposed to be needed back until late this evening or unless some form of crisis started to happen that the Avengers were needed.

Jamie just smiled towards him although she was rich she didn't actually care how expensive the ring was she actually a very giving person in fact she would give homeless people a fifty not caring what they spend it on. She was actually wondering what Tony was up to when he left the mansion but she never followed him because if he needed to tell her he would.When he offered her lunch she was actually pretty hungry right and could go for some " of course Tony but where should we go i am not sure where "The moment was going great nothing bad has happened to ruin this which she hopped not because if it did they will just handle it.

She was going to let him pick the restaurant although she usually choose pretty good places even the best food truck food which there were about five of them that got her seal of approval." and you can drive my car if you want Tony " it was rare that She would even let anyone drive her car even though she never lets anyone even touch it if someone left such as fingerprint she would totally chew them out and make them clean it.She actually had a very nice with all the bells and whistles that people would have.

"Well there is an italian place that isn't so bad, how about that Jamie?" Tony asked knowing it isn't far away and it would be easy to get to in New York. They could take one of the cars or even Jamie's car too if that offer was available still. "Unless you want to go domewhere else that works too." Tony added as he looked back at Jamie.

He sure was happy that things worked out. Especially with his past in Ultron verse. He had come a long way and a lot had healed since then regarding his scars and guilt too. "We can leave whenever you are ready." Tony added since he didn't mind waiting a bit if they had too. He also noticed how nice it was outside. Not a cloud oit there and no rain to speak of. Perhaps that was a sign of no bad luck on their hands.

Jamie smiled and digged her in her pocket for her keys and hands them over to Tony so he could drive them" That italian place actually sounds nice and I will be happy to go anywhere with you"She said as she goes to the parking lot to get into the passenger side not knowing if he got here in his own car or flew here. She was actually happy to see that he was doing well since she actually worried about him most of them time she wanted him just be stable and happy and not have to worry about the things of the past because it just brought him sadness.She didn't have any Rockstar related stuff to do because she had her other bandmates work on those although she actually answered her own fan mail both of her identities

She was already in the planning phases of their wedding even though he just asked just moments ago.She has been waiting for this for quite a long time someone she could spend the the rest of her life with and being with her best friend was the greatest thing ever.She had her own scars of her past and she usually would never talk about them in fear that she would lose the respect of her friends even if it has been along time ago.She sits there in silence just savoring this moment for little while waiting as they reach the resterant even if they had to fight a villain it will be the first villain they fight as an engaged couple.

[Tony Stark]

"There it is." Tony said after they got in the car it got a couple blocks ahead and took a few turns. It wasn't long before they arrived there. He made sure that the car was parked and opened up the door for Jamie. Though he did have to agree that it would've been the first time that he fought a villain with Jamie at his side while they were engaged. Tony had recovered a lot since those sour and bitter days of being apart of Ultron and being forced to be used. However he had always worried that Ultron might be behind him or show himself in this realm. The possibilty was far closer to him than he realized.

"I was thinking of having a pasta of some time, not sure what I want really for specifics. do you have an idea on what you want, Jamie?" Tony asked as he waited patiently for her to get out. Of course he ignored the looks and stairs that they got as they got out of the car.The avengers were pretty much celebrities in New York City at this point. However he worried that someone was watching them and he felt some worry. "Jamie let's hope that no one barges in on us while we're trying to assemble a wedding or going about our daily routine. We've got enemies." Tony said in a low whisper towards her. He also had his Ironman suit with him too in case he needed it as he kept it close.
