Spending an Afternoon Together (Brandi)

This certainly was different, although Miguel could see through his mask pretty easily he added a face mask to block most of or if all of his vision while he was training in the Hellicarrier. He might've been one of the older senior members now, he had some skills that he could still learn every once in awhile. As he rested on the vertical wall he waited for his spidey sense to go off as he sensed some danger. He wore his familiar day of the dead costume as he quickly dodged to the right as a large robotic like tentacle arm came forward to try and grab him but Miguel was quicker.

"Not so lucky to grab me like that-" Miguel however was cut off as he felt himself being wrapped around a second time as another arm got him. "Ow that hurts! Let me go!" Miguel said as he felt the arm wrap tightly around him. He was fearful if this kept up any longer, he might've felt a broken rib or even an arm. "I said let go of me!" He said as he brought out his talons before ripping right through the metal with ease. It sparked and fell to the ground with the arm no longer working.

Miguel was breathing hard as the training lasted for a couple of minutes before it ended as he heard a loud buzzing sound. It had been a long hard day as he realized it was about 3:00pm in the afternoon. "I guess training is done for me." He said as he walked out feeling tired and ready for a break. His muscles ached a bit but he was glad that it was finally over. Now as he walked out he had a thought towards Brandi or even finding Sam. The three of them had been friends for some time now so reuniting was always a good in his mind. ONe thing he did miss in his time was seeing his brother Gabriel. He had tried to convince him on occasions, to come but he wouldn't budge. Maybe if Gabriel came and saw how neat the past was he might accept it, just maybe. "Brandi are you around?" he asked looking around the lounge room, but so far it looked empty.

Brandi was sleeping on the couch peacefully it had been very long week for because she had along week of her mission and some of them were without her friends since some of just required her.The missions had involved monsters that aren't usually out in the public or known to even exist.She was told that she could have some time off but she saw that her friends were either very busy with training or out with family.She herself mostly had to grow up along since her adoptive family had always seemed to be busy..

She never like to oppose on them or get involved with something that wasn't her affair.She was just a very private person that never liked to talk about herself.She was under some kind of emotional trauma and her friends will just have to get her to speak out on it.She didn't actually have any thing else important to do or someone to do it with.

"Brandi?" Miguel asked but it seemed like he wouldn't get an answer since the place looked empty. Hardly anyone was around. He hadn't seen Brandi in awhile and from what SHIELD had told him she had been away on a mission. He came to one couch area thinking he could sit down on it but he realized someone else had occupied most of it. Miguel had taken his mask off as he smiled seeing a sleeping Brandi on it.

she was sleeping like she hadn't slept in a long time, in a deep one from what Miguel observed. Carefully he put his talons back not wanting to hurt Brandi at all. He put a hand on her gently and rubbed it a bit. "Brandi are you awake? I'm sorry I didn't see you sooner I had been training almost all day." Miguel said wondering if she would wake up at all. If so he stayed beside her on the ground as he took out his phone to see if he had any messages, and there weren't any from Gabriel or anyone else that he knew of so that was fine with him. Maybe at this rate, if Brandi woke up it'd be the two of them.

Brandi heard Miguel saying her name as she opened her eyes seeing that he was sitting there.She saw that there was no else but them their as she sits up she was surprised that she wasn't told that she had to go back to her quarters to sleep" hello Miguel it's nice to see you " She was very happy to see him because she hadn't seen him the whole time she was on her mission.She missed them quite a lot and wanted right now to spread as much time as possible with them

She usually always requested to work with but she also knew that isn't always possible because they different things that they do. She wanted to tell him what went on while she was away on her mission but won't unless he wanted to actually know. She wait after a few moments of slience and then decided to ask this " so what went on while i was gone .anything interesting at all "

"It's nice to see you as well Brandi." He added back to the greeting. He was glad to see that she was alright and doing well. They often had time to be apart and Miguel wasn't fond of that too much. he had to recall on what had happened and it seemed like it was a lot. "Hm where to start." Miguel said as he put a hand under his chin as he thought about it. "Well there was a trip to Wakanda that I took with Kaine, it was a minor disaster when the plane crashed...but we were ok." he said hoping that didn't scare her too much as he realized what he said might've bothered her. He did have a healing factor and all that he could've survived on.

"I also went back to the future to visit my brother Gabriel. I am worried about him a lot even though he says he's fine." Miguel admitted. "I've wanted him to come into our time but he can't leave so easily.' he admitting wishing he could spend time with Gabriel and Brandi but jumping between worlds wasn't exactly easy. Plus the 2099 time was his home. He had so much he wanted to tell Brandi, but he knew doing that might be enough to break things by accident in his time.

Brandi just listened to miguel with a smile on her face as he talked about his week she wanted to get caught up as much as possible. There she still looked really tired and out of it.When came to dangers that Shield put them she didn't worry to much but it still upset her when any of her friends got hurt and she will be the first one that comes to visit.She was happy to heard his stories about when she travels to future to see his family which she was glad to know that he still was able to.

She puts herself in danger when she goes on these mission that usually leave her injured but most of them its just minor.She never would ask too much about the future because she wa worried about breaking the timeline and she watched plenty of time travel movies. She then thinks for because she wanted to do something with him because she hasn't had any fun for awhile" soo Miguel do you want to do something we can go out somewhere we can go to The other place "

Miguel was glad that he was able to catch up with Brandi. Although it had only been a week or two since he saw her, this was an opportunity for them to do something again. But the question was what? He thought hard about it, although his body was a bit tired, he wasn't going to let that bother him. Plus his healing factor would take care about it. It was clear there was a thinking face on him as his mask was removed so he didn't have to hide underneath it. "How about we go out and eat some where Brandi? We can change into civillian clothing and head out while we can." Miguel offered.

"To be all honest I am a little bit tired of hellicarrier food sometimes you need a break from it." Miguel said in a low whisper so only Brandi could hear. He knew there were other agents that could hear them, also since they were mostly spies aboard, so no surprise there. "Hm I think I know of a Chinese place that we can go too if you're up for food I saw it while swinging through once when i was coming back from the future if you want to go there." Miguel asked as he showed the restaurant to Brandi on his phone. It looked like it had about 4-5 stars, which was a decent rating. It was called the Red Moon Dragon Restaurant (made up though).

She just nodded little bit towards him she agreed with him about she too was tired of the Helicarrier food" yes let's go out somewhere let's hope nothing horrible happens " she knew that they had the luck of something happening on their dates. The first one Ojike attacked the restaurant and killed a lot of people.There was simulation where demons appeared and their dinner had to be called off because she was bitten and poison this time that will not happen nothing will ruin this for then

When finished talking she goes to the to her quarters to get ready to go out to eat once again she dressed herself a very nice t-shirt and pants she didn't feel that dress fancy.She waited for him at the exit with her hands to the side.She had did some research about the place and it had a hibachi bar which she usually gets before she picks off the bar. She also ate some sushi to which her favorite is the ones with fish and the Rice.

"Yes I agree with that, our luck seems to run bad...I wonder if I have the Parker bad luck too." Miguel chuckled knowing Peter had it in the past anywhere from being late to class, loosing his homework or having trouble as Spider-Man. As Miguel left he quickly changed out of his spider-man suit and put it in a backpack in case he needed it. He got dressed in some nicer close of his which included a shirt and some pants before heading out, he also got his glasses too. "Brandi I'm ready to go do you want to take the sky cycles? We'll be at the restaurant in a couple of minutes." MIguel said knowing they could beat the traffic that way and get home much faster.

He hadn't figured out what he wanted yet, but the restaurant sounded good, in fact anything sounded good at this point since he was tired of the food on the hellicarrier. It was the same thing almost and they were used to it. Sometimes the change of scenery could do them good too. "Brandi, are you ready to go?" He asked hoping that the answer was yes. "I hope I didn't take too long on getting dressed." He admitted. He knew that the day off would do them some good, or at least have some time away to focus on their relationship.

She wouldn't have minded waiting him she would have done for anytime as long as he didn't stand her up or anything. She fully trusted him as much as her best friend Sam Alexander her first real friend. She smiled and just nodded little bit about the sky cycles which are always fun with the wind blowing through your hair as you fly though the it sounded great. " lets go and no you didn't take that long " She knew this going to be peaceful this time nothing bad is going to happen this time.

When he summoned the cycles she got on to him and wrapped her arms around him and rests her head on to his shoulder.She usually just like him drive since he wanted to take her out.When took them somewhere she would just take her car which she was very possessive over and never let anyone drive but Sam or Miguel since she felt they wouldn't do anything too it.

In Miguel's time he was used to seeing Skycycles, they were something that was very common. In fact it dawned on to him that Brandi had only been to his time at least once, maybe they could go back there one day and enjoy the futuristic like world. He quickly took control of it as Brandi held onto him. He didn't go that fast though, despite it being spring out it was awfully chilly and cold as he flew through the air. It wasn't long before he found the restaurant on the map that the skycycle had electronically. "Alright Brandi we're almost there." Miguel said as he managed to land in one of the ally ways to avoid some on lookers knowing this would attract attention.

"This restauraunt looks like a good choice, I think they serve a buffet here too." Miguel said as he had looked at it on his phone earlier while he had been getting dressed. Once he was done he got off carefully and locked the skycycle so no one else could use them but them. It'd be their trip back to the hellicarrier knowing that it might be awhile and flying wasn't exactly easy as Spider-Man. "Well you know the saying, Ladies first." Miguel said offering Brandi the way towards the entrance where some large bronze Chinese serpent dragons stood out on the front. They seemed to give out a menacing look with their eyes and fangs, but Miguel's spidey sense never went off, which was fine by him since they weren't real.

Brandi just smiled little bit towards as she walked ahead of him into restaurant and smiled seeing that it was a very nice place. She had been inside of lot of buffets like this. They were taken to their table and given enough plates asked about " i would like pepsi " she waited for miguel to order his drink before she went to get food. She smiled little this was going to be interesting night and it's going be perfect.

She goes the hibachi bar and picked a egg some rice and squid and shrimp mixture and garlic when that was done she got something off the sushi bar and then takes her seat. This was going be at least their third date together and so far nothing is happening which was good" so Miguel anything interesting happen with you asides what you told me ..?"

Miguel was glad to see that they were able to have a decent meal in without having to worry about anything. Miguel got a few things like dumpling soup and as well as a few others like noodles and rice cakes. It all looked really good. And it wasn't long before he came back to sit down with Brandi. He also looked back to see that she looked happy. "Hm I know I spoke with Gabriel recently and I am still trying to convince him to come to this time at least for a visit or two." Miguel admitted knowing that even if they were years apart, in this time he and Gabriel weren't even born yet.

"Also in speaking of family, Brandi...I know this is a touchy subject some time but could you see us having kids?" Miguel asked. "I mean I know it doesn't have to be any time soon but in the future." Miguel said knowing that they still had to focus on their marriage. It was probably some time before they would worry about kids. But Miguel actually liked the idea. Heck some of the members on the Web Warriors had kids, like Kaine even if he acted all tough and hard. And then there was Peter himself who had kids already. Though it did occur to him if they had a child, the child might have powers. They could have his spider powers in the future, if things played out like that.

Brandi was eating her food as she stared towards him when had metioned children it was actually family wasn't exactly something she liked talking about but she didn't actually mind it at all. She just softly smiled little bit towards him " I so actually I hope I can someday but how about we plan our wedding first " She wanted them to be together forever and would do what it takes to make that happen.

She didn't think that her child would inherit her demon hunter abilities since they are usually given to person. The thing about being demon hunter it was very dangerous job and things can go down really quickly.She was trying to plan out the wedding she wanted to have a big this time she of course was going to invite Sam and their other fellow agents " soo about our Wedding who are we inviting "

"I understand maybe that's not the thing we worry about at the moment." Miguel said as he was eating his noodles. He wasn't very good with using chop sticks so he went to using his fork with the food. But heay it might make a good souvenir from the restaurant they looked rather fancy. Miguel let Brandi talk as he continued to eat. Maybe it was a good idea that they talk about the wedding, it was creeping up faster and faster.

"Hm I know some obvious ones. We're inviting Sam, and Gabriel since they're pretty much family. What about the other Web Warriors? I know it might seem a bit of a hard one but Kaine and Peter are friends...and Maybe a lot of others on the hellicarriers that are our friends?" Miguel asked realizing they might have a decent sized family wedding. Even if it was on the large side, they could handle it no matter what happened. And Miguel also wanted to be with Brandi until their own death but he hoped that wasn't any time soon. With his Healing factor he might be around for some time in the future.
