Anya didn't know why she was taking this risk again, returning to SHIELD. She had contacted Fury then had a three-way video conference between him, herself, and Hybrid, who was still easily annoyed and impatient as ever. Looked like the only thing that had remotely changed about the mixed symbiote was his host appearance. But, he did seem surprised by her decision and suggestion, one she would never have thought to make after everything.
She was coming back to the Web Warriors, albeit things had been kept under raps so they didn't know until she was throwing all her support behind the decision.
Which was why the young woman was there now, the Helicarrier presently settled in the ocean not far off from New York City, making it far easier to track and get to than having to chase it down from the air. Anya was taking a stroll along the edges of the ship's deck, reading over the updates and policies SHIELD had implemented since she had last been there, scrolling through a holographic tablet, courtesy of of Stark Tech of course. Occasionally she paused when coming across a line requiring her signature, making her consider everything before she signed, having done this twice already.
"Man, I forgot how extensive these contracts are." She sighed to herself, rubbing the back of her head as she read over to the next page, pausing briefly to glance out at the city. It had been after that night her and Sam had talked that finally drove her to reconsider her reservations despite how present they were now."Man, everyone is going to freak when they realize what's happening." But whether that was a good thing or bad would depend on the person she suspected.

Ooc: This will be a combination post for Kaine and Miguel don't feel like posting twice. cx
Bic: Miguel and Kaine, had just come from a training routine before the door closed and of course cleaning up the mess for anyone else who had decided to try and do some training of their own. Miguel was in his familiar blue and red costume with no eye lid areas like most masked heroes did he could see right through the costume. As for Kaine his was normally a deep red and black the typical Scarlet Spider costume that he wore. They walked down the hallway almost together in fact, Kaine truly did find these people to be his comrades, but of course he'd never admit that in front of them.. There were just somethings you couldn't avoid in this case he did care, even if Kaine was all gruff and tough sounding. Kaine only showed his true self in front of his family.
The two decided to go up deck to get some fresh air as Miguel stopped in his tracks as he saw someone walking not far from them. She seemed so occupied in their work that she didn't notice them. As far as Miguel knew Sam was in New York City taking the night off before returning to go back to sleep. He often had his own agenda or wanted to get away from SHIELD.
"Anya is that you?" Miguel asked. "Let me guess Sam must've begged you to come back. He's not here at the moment last I heard he was in New York City." Miguel said. "Right now it's just Kaine and I who had been training in the lower floors. How are you doing?" Miguel asked.
"Miguel you're running your mouth off again." Kaine said with a sigh. "Uh welcome back...?" He said trying to find the right words "I guess the reason what I'm asking is why you're coming back? Yous seemed so certain to stay away from us and SHIELD." Kaine pointed out. "Of course you don't have to tell us." Kaine said.
So engrossed in the sights, Anya was startled somewhat when she heard Miguel and Kaine, turning to face the two spiders. "Good to see you two, too." Anya said with a meek smile. Though it was due to more so to the fact she had been caught off guard by their presence when these days she always seemed hyper aware of what was going on around herself, so for them to catch her so distracted was rather embarrassing. But, at least they didn't seem hostile.
"You guys do realize I still at least visit now and again, in case you forgot last Christmas already." Anya pointed out with a small smile, mostly aiming the last part towards Miguel. Of course the last she had seen Kaine hadn't exactly been on the best of terms when she herself had gone in a dark state, more so than what was normal for her. But, their questions weren't unwarranted much less the mention of Sam. "I'm doing alright though Miguel, just...well..." Anya looked at the holographic tablet in her hand, still on the same page she had been reading that she was tempted to skip over.
"Like I said, normally I just visit from time to time, make sure you guys are, you know, still around. But this time...Sam has nothing to do with me being here. Well, he does, but he didn't beg me to come around this time." Geez how did she explain this? A part of her wanted to tell them outright what she was doing but at the same time she felt some apprehension, worried what their reactions might be.
But they had to know at some point.
With a deep breathe, Anya finally looked at them and stood straight. She had to face the music at some point because they would know sooner or later, "I'm not here for a friendly visit you two, I'm...signing back up to rejoin the Web Warriors." She finally told them with some greater confidence in her voice, but there was a hint of apprehension in her eyes, wondering how they would react.

"Well then Welcome back to the Web Warriors." Miguel said with a soft nod. Miguel noticed the deep breath that she took wondering if she was nervous or even worried about being here. Honestly welcoming back a member had been easier for him this time. "I suppose you need some updates on who's here on the Web warriors and what's been going on from time to time." Miguel pointed out.
"Yeah like web head over here, has a daughter now with Brandi her name is Kyra." Kaine pointed out as Miguel sighed realizing that was some of his line. The sky was young that night and Kyra was still in his room being babysat with one of the other SHIELD agents that they knew. They simply weren't going to let anyone babysit her since she may have been a handful. Not to mention one day she might gain her powers one day. Miguel also looked up knowing that Kaine had a family too.
"Well you've got three kids might I add to it." He said with a teasing tone. And kaine let out a huff, as if to show he didn't really want to talk about it with all the other shield agents on top. Perhaps later or down below. "That reminds me, Bucket head should be here in about...three...two...one." Miguel added as he saw a message pop up on his phone that Sam was returning from being out all day. Just as if it were on que something like a blue light shot through the air. If you hadn't thought twice or saw it really fast, you would've thought it was something like a comet. But it was in fact an actual human being named Nova. It didn't take much time at all for Sam to land but his eyes went wide when he saw Anya.
"Anya! Is this some kind of dream? You're back on SHIELD." Sam said looking rather surprised but confused at the same time. He knew this probably wasn't a dream or anything but it was great news if Anya was returning to the Web Warriors. They might actually see each other more besides the on occasions visit.
Anya couldn't help letting out a sigh of relief. She had partially expected some hostile remarks considering how she had left the team, not much of a word or saying, she had simply turned in everything she had related to SHIELD, badge and all, before leaving in the cover of night. Four long years after she had finally decided to don her current suit, which was more a representation of her change in view and attitude, a reflection of the less-than-chipper woman she had become.
"You have a kid too now huh? Good to hear Miguel, congrats!" Anya said with a soft smile, being aware of Kaine and Katherine having kids. She only knew from their own face-to-face encounter from months ago, where things had seemed a little more friendly. But, she was hoping that with returning the team, and some much needed time, she could patch the rocky relationships she now had for leaving so suddenly. But they were all still friends, regardless of what the past had caused since she had been there.
Before she could speak however, she turned when Miguel mentioned Sam returning, causing her to feel completely nervous now. The Web Warriors were one thing, but Sam...he was another story entirely. She couldn't help turning her gaze to the floor, feeling herself beginning to sweat a little at Sam's shocked words. "Well, yes actually, as a part-time agent for the time being." Anya explained before lifting her gaze to all three once more. "I've been arranging this with Fury and Hybrid all week, but Hybrid would prefer I have a part-time status until he knows for sure I'm serious, which I don't blame him for. I did go AWOL on you guys before. Seems only fair I'm watched closely." She explained before turning her attention towards Hybrid.
"Yes, and you shall stay on such a status until I know for certain I can trust you." Hybrid spoke sternly as he walked over, for now in his newer human guise, a box in hand with the SHIELD symbol on it. "We're aware you're using a self-made costume, but just in case you decide to bring some nostalgia back, we had this made, SHIELD issued suit." Hybrid explained as he handed it to the surprised Anya. But he then turned to Miguel and Kaine, "But this doesn't mean the rest of you get to slack off now that we have another member, got it?"
"Her name is Kyra O'Hara but we won't know if she has any powers until she's older. For now I'm just glad she's enjoying the life of a baby. Both Brandi and I have powers so it's likely she might gain some too." Miguel pointed out knowing the same could be said for Kaine's kids. In fact their children were early and already showed powers since they were infants so it was perhaps different for every family. As Sam hovered in place his blue aura lit up the deck pretty easily.
"You forgot to tell Anya the other thing." Sam said as Miguel face palmed. "Just tell her already!" Sam added again looking rather silly about this whole thing and making a big deal.
"What Sam is talking about is we adopted a German shepherd dog named Blaze. He's on the hellicarrier too with us so we have a bit of a full house." Miguel pointed out wondering if Sam wanted to run down these past few years with Anya and she probably wasn't super interested in that right now. In fact, she looked a little bit nervous as far as he could tell. Did it have something to do with Sam? She shouldn't be nervous at all around him, he was probably the last of her worries.
The happiness suddenly shifted as someone else came aboard as they recognized the red symbiote appear as Miguel and Kaine both turned over to see him arriving and telling them about slacking off. Miguel sighed as Kaine didn't look at all amused. "Look Hybrid if you want to see anyone slacking off you should do it towards the younger web warriors. We have full time super hero business and families to take care of too." Kaine pointed out.
"Kaine that is enough we're not hear for arguments." Miguel pointed out as Sam both looked concerned that something might break out soon. But silence fell around Kaine. If one thing was true he was still rebellious, a grump and as well as annoyed easily in some areas. It was same old Kaine. But he did have some of his priorities set straight.
