Henry Pym Jr.
PERSONALITY Henry has gained a lot of his parent's personality where he is incredibly smart. Henry is often kind and tries to avoid violence at all costs, though he joined the Avengers to promote, peace. He feels a heavy burden of his father's death still on his shoulders and feels like he has to make up for what his father did if he had made any mistakes in the past. Henry has also been known to tinker with objects and machines in his spare time. It seems like he can put anything together and then take it apart, and fix it again. Henry is also pretty friendly willing to make friends with anyone. However it has been shown that he can create rivalries with other boys. Often times this doesn't end well as they realize that the whole thing may have been for nothing. He watches out for family members and friends in case they need him for something important or just need his help. HISTORY Mother: Jane Van Dyne (Wasp) Father: Henry Pym Sr. (Ant-Man) Twin Sister: Hope Pym (Red Queen/Stinger) Henry's father was a valiant Avenger named Ant-Man who had created the Pym Particles. He had been on a relationship for a long time with Jane Van Dyne. Finally the two got married and lived a happy life for several years. It wouldn't be long before Jane found out she was expecting and nine months later gave birth to a baby boy and a baby daughter. They named the boy Henry Pym Jr. after the father and named the girl Hope Pym. They lived for a family for some time, however Hank Pym spent a lot of time in the lab where he obsessed over new inventions. Gradually Henry got interested in what his father was doing and so Hank invited him in despite showing some cautiou and the familiar phrase of "Don't touch anything." Which was quickly ignored. At one point, Hank found the pym particles that his father had been famous for making and shrunk down to size before reverting back to normal. The innccident terrified him yet excited the young boy at the same time. However Hank and Jane both agreed that Henry and Hope should live a normal life while they still had the chance. They had the option to become super heroes and that chance would always be there. They grew up idolizing the Avengers and Henry was one day interested in joining them. One day Henry decided that he should be a super hero and joined in it. His father giving him pym particles of his own to use to shrink or get larger with for his powers. He learned how to use the pym particles and gradually became Giant Man for the Avengers. As for his sister, he isn't sure if she wants to join or not, but when she's ready he's waiting for her. Powers Although Henry Pym is just a human he has gained the ability to use Pym Particales which allows him to increase in size or shrink. He gains incredible strength upon increasing his size. It is clear that he has been able to increase his size to one of the sky scrapers in New York City. And for decreasing his size, he has been able to become so small he has been able to follow small ants and other insects around like his father. Password here: |
