Hallucinations (Brandi)

[Miguel O'Hara]

"If there's one thing that I hate most. Is mind games." Miguel said as he saw himself being faced to face with a familiar criminal in this time. He had his spider-man suit on all draped in blue and disguising his face to make sure no one saw him. It was clear he was in a tough fight right here. He clung to a wall nearby as Mysterio was laughing wildly as he knew that this wasn't going to be fun. Where was Brandi? He was worried about his wife not being here right on time. They were going to meet in Central Park while Sam was watching Kyra.

Right now he was right in the middle of New York as some of the humans ran off in fear as the fight continued. Miguel knew that some of these villains were bad news from SHIELD's files and from what he had read earlier they were bad, in fact bad bad. With one hand out he sent a thwip noise and the man got webbed to the nearby wall. he heard a groan from the mysterious man. But it wasn't over yet. "Alright why don't you just give in, Mysterio? You're already webbed up from me earlier." MIguel said seeing that he was clung to a wall.

"Oh I am not done yet, Spider-Man we have only just begun!" The man said with the odd hood on and glass ball as a head. he waved his right hand as Miguel felt himself starting to get sleepy almost like a hypnotized like look in his body. He felt weak ad tired as he tried to stay awake. "You are getting sleepy Spider-Man fall into my trance while you can!" He said and finally Miguel passed out as he fell asleep against the wall unable to handle the strength that the hypnotizing caused.

"Where-Where am I?" Miguel asked as he woke up finding himself tied up in a chair as he woke up finding the area black and dark. Clearly this was in Mysterio's court now. "Brandi? Where are you? And I can't free myself!" He said trying to get his talons out on his hands but he couldn't reach where he had been tied down. "And things just went bad to worse really quick, did't it?" Miguel asked trying to figure out how he could get out of this mess. He was frustrated.

Brandi had already been captured by Mysterio and was inside his little game and she looked around angrily as she walked down the hallway of illusions. She was quite used to this kind of thing with demons because they did something similar to this to her before .She was trying to make sure that nothing happened.she was suppose to meet with Miguel to search for this guy but she got herself captured instead. She had just gotten out of her chair and heard mysterio's game announcement and sighed but doesn't say anything.

she also worried about her husband and all her friends because of her being one of the worlds demon hunters it put them in the line of fire which she always seem to freak out when things went wrong. The fact it upset them when she would tell them go run since they are heroes too but that was just her way of protecting them and she wished they didn't take it so hard sometimes.When she heards Miguel shout she started to run towards his voice going through the darkness and saw that he is tied up and rushed towards him undoing the ropes"....its ok Miguel its me ..some guy with a fish bowl on his head putting though some kind of game ...we have to escape all the exits seem to be blocked"

Miguel looked up as he could see Brandi that was one face that he was glad to see. "Fishbowl guy? That sounds like Mysterio I was fighting him and webbed him up to a wall and then he got his hand loose, hypnotizing me. I hope he didn't do something similar to you." Miguel said as he could see. "And I can see you Brandi it looks as bright as day to me here...that's my vision." Miguel explained. "Only problem is I can't-" He was cut off as he tried to aim his talon like claws to where he could try and rip apart the rope.

He heard the fibers of the rope one by one starting to fall apart as he broke his arm free with Brandi's help and his own too, and then got the other one free before he could stand. "Thank you Brandi!" Miguel said looking relieved. "I guess we have to follow Mysterio's way now." MIguel said with a sigh not liking this one bit. But the darkness didn't scare him at all in fact he could see right through it. That was when the area lit up brightly making him cover his eyes a bit.

"Good afternoon you two we are now going to play it as my game. Mysterio's game is simple open up one of three doors to find the way out. Just remember it's one! And one only!" He said with a laugh as Miguel sighed not liking this one bit. "I hate that guy." He mumbled under his voice but Brandi could probably hear him at this.

Brandi wasn't too scared of and she knew if they worked together they will be out of this place and compete this twisted game of Mysterio's and she doesn't say anything else and just nodded little.She looked up towards the speaker as the man spoke to them and not really telling them what they are supposed to be doing to get out of here but she figured as much about the three doors and they would have to find out which one is the correct one she was keeping this mentally in mind.

She started to walk forward and then looked towards them and finally spoke after a few moment of slience " soo Miguel what is the plan here do you have any idea how to work this out " She knew this was going to be dangerous because she seen the movie Saw and they must be all kinds of deadly traps. She had a flashlight in her hand because she didn't have the nightvision that Miguel had.She was keeping her senses way up to make sure she didn't step into something bad or possibly get killed in the process.

THe room was dark but Brandi lit it up with a bit of light. It wasn't enough to stun Miguel all that much it would've needed to be a much brighter light than that. He figured Brandi was stunned too by all of this happening. "I know to point out the obvious but I don't like this one bit." Miguel said shaking his head. "Everything we do is controlled by Mysterio there must be some way we can stump him." Miguel said knowing that would be hard. Thinking in silence wasn't going to do and perhaps his silence wasn't going to work either.

"Hm Mysterio certainly isn't making this easily." Miguel said as he put a hand under his chin like he was trying to think this through. There was no clear cut answer to this one and he knew that Mysterio wasn't going to make this easy for sure. "Why don't we just try door #1? It doesn't look too bad." Miguel said as he pointed to the first door on the left. It had some images on the door and it looked like glass mirrors with them drawn on it. If Brandi had any objections he wouldn't open the door but he knew he was going to need more than vision in this one to get hem out. "Do you want to open it or do you want to open another door?" Miguel asked looking back at her as he stood next to his wife. He'd make sure they both get out alive. The door read "Hall of Mirrors" on it.

Brandi walked to the door when he said something about opening she didn't think there was anything dangerous behind the door if miguel entered behind her the door would just close and seal behind them and suddenly lit brightly she winced at the sudden light slightly placed her hand over her.There was bunch of mirrors in this room and fog and something was prowling around in the maze of mirror there was light growl.

She was frozen in place because she was stunned by the light for few moments before blinking. The room was very big at the beginning and had a lot of paths in front of them .She looked around quickly goes to check if Miguel was behind her which she was worried that he might be blinded by the sudden light and this guy was pretty brutal when it game to his games enough to mess with them"Miguel ?!?!"

"Ugh I can't see Brandi! I'm so sensitive to the light." MIguel said putting up a hand to try and block it out as they entered the room. How on earth were they going to try and get passed all these obstacles if he couldn't see? This made him worry a bit and he knew his Spider sense could only help him so much. He then realized Brandi might have to be his eyes as they navigated through everything. That was going to be the painful part. He didn't want to admit it but he knew it was likely going to happen. Miguel liked to be independent as much as Brandi did. But they didn't have a choice here.

"Brandi do you think you can be my eyes? I know before it got really bright I saw a maze. However I doubt I can navigate it on my own." Miguel said knowing that "Ugh I really hate this guy Mysterio I don't know how other super heroes can handle him." Miguel complained as he rubbed his eyes underneath the mask but he knew that this blindness would likely last for some time if they kept it up. Sometimes like this he wished he were normal there were some down sides of being half Spider. He was just glad that Kyra wasn't here to suffer through this. She was too young and innocent.

" yes i will lead you Miguel we will have to get though some rooms " She placed her arm around his shoulder to help him walked through the first part of the maze and found a bag with some things in them one of them was pair of futuristic glasses and some kind of food and watch . The entrance closed behind them when she removed the items .

She passed the glasses to him inside of this room was some buttons and holes in the floor and suddenly they hear a roar in distance like a wild cat and golden eyes suddenly shined in front of them. Brandi felt her arms tingle there was more then just animal in here and suddenly their is a whirling metal as the walls started to move towards them with Metal spikes going towards " oh my god...run " she said no comment about him complaining about Mysterio..

When Brandi handed him the glasses, Miguel put them on underneath his costume, "finally things are clear again." he said glad to see that they hid the light a bit from everywhere. The wonder when this pain from Mysterio would end he probably had a thousand things to say but he kept it bottled up for now. As he opened up his eyes he saw how bad things were, they were going through a maze which didn't look good. "Thank you Brandi for finding those I can see better." Miguel said but they weren't like his goggles those were the best ones he had around. But they'd have to do for now.

That was when Miguel's Spidey sense went off as he saw the feline approaching it was growling and angry at them for intruding on its area. "Heay nice kitty we didn't come here to get mauled." Miguel said as he put up his hands making the familiar webbing symbol where his first finger were out and the pinky too as he sent some webbing out in the feline's direction hoping that would slow it down but only for a bit. "One thing is for sure we need a plan. Slow the feline down or cage it maybe?" Miguel asked as he clung to the vertical wall not far from Brandi. That was when Miguel saw the spikes coming their way as he quickly went to dodge landing on another wall he was glad he could at least use the walls to his advantage but he still worried about Brandi, what was Brandi up too?
