A Family Once More (Brandi)

Miguel and Brandi had welcomed Kyra into the world only recently it had been a few days now they were able to be a family. Sam was pretty proud to be an uncle and so was Gabriel as the two had met the child. Miguel had a feeling she was going to look just like Brandi as far as he was concerned. He hugged her tightly in his arms, keeping her close that evening as they were getting ready for bed, and he let her nurse on a bottle. He liked the full name, Kyra O'Hara it certainly fit well to her. Though Miguel wondered if they'd have any other kids. He knew the father thing was going to be hard but he had a feeling with Brandi's help they'd get through it.

"Alright night time my sweet princess." he said as he put the infant in her bed. Apart of the room had been made into a nursery on the arrival of Kyra and the rest belonged to Miguel and Brandi. There was even room for Blaze who was a protective and watchful dog. He was a proud brother too, well four legged brother the way you saw it. Still Miguel couldn't help but wonder if Kyra would have any powers. The odds were high since he had powers, and so did Brandi. Miguel was a mutate who had 50% spider dna, so that probably meant that she would have 25% spider DNA.

After kissing Kyra good night he fell asleep in the bed that he and Brandi shared knowing the next morning would be an interesting one. The few windows int he SHIELD room lit up brightly as the sun came in and Miguel didn't want to wake up. They had the next few weeks so they could take care of their new born. That was when a wet nose nudged him gently as he realized it was Blaze. "Blaze! You woke me up? Come on it's 7:00am let me sleep a little more." Miguel groaned as Blaze laughed through his talking collar.

Brandi was a very happy mother and will protect her daughter with her life and won't let anything happen to her. She was sleeping as well after a long day she was given the some time off to spend some bonding time with her Daughter she wasn't been given any missions. She knew as demon hunter she will sometimes have to fight those evil things because her duty was belond Shield and there are things that she couldn't stopped.

The fact she wanted to keep her daughter away from the demon hunter life and hoped that she didn't get the powers but she knew that most likely was going to have her father powers due to him being a mutant with spiders abillies. She was given her powers and they are unlikely to be inherited from birth but there is always a chance if it happens she will be ready to put her through the training.She was also woken up by Blaze and she looked towards Miguel " looks like we better get up then huh one of us got to feed Kyra " She sits up the bed she didn't want to get either but she knew it was a big responsibility.

Miguel also knew it was time to get up no matter how much he wanted to sleep in. They still had to take care of Blaze and as well as Kyra too so they would possibly get a nap in later if need be. "Good morning Brandi." He said giving her a soft kiss on the cheek. "And yeah you're right about that. As they say there is responsibility in life." He added as he was fully aware of that especially with the Spider-Man phrase "With great power comes great responsibility." No one taught Miguel how to be Spider-Man he mostly learned on his own, but SHIELD helped in a way make him realize he wasn't alone and there were other super heroes out there too. That was when he met Brandi. He knew he was likely to meet a girl in his time, but Brandi was different. He couldn't think of spending his days without her.

"Well I can feed Kyra I am surprised she slept through the night without waking us up. And hello to you too Blaze." Miguel said as he put his hand down as he rubbed Blaze's head. The german shephard wagged his tail heavily as he was glad to see his humans and glad to see they were awake. Once he got up and stretched a bit he walked over to Kyra's side of the bed where she was in her own bed so they could have some room. "Morning princess." Miguel said as he heard Kyra give a soft yawn and he picked her up gently before starting to feed her with a milk bottle. If anything, Brandi was probably far more tired, so he figured he better pick up his end of the deal of being a father, even if he was new to it.

Brandi smiled as he kissed her on check and then rolled over to get out of the bed. She was happy to see that Miguel is being a great father to Kyra and just as protective as she is.She then goes get Blaze's dog food and puts it into the bowl and watched as Blaze ran over to the bowl to eat it looking really happy. She smiled and says " Miguel i am going fix us breakfast " She goes to get them some breakfast knowing Miguel will give Kyra her bottle while she was doing something else for them.

She was trying her hardest to keep up her end of deal of being the mother even though she doubt herself because at time she fears that she couldn't be around that much due to what she does.She was told everything was going be fine by her fellow agents and they will help her and Miguel take care of stuff when they are away on mission but she just can't think what would happened if something bad was to happen but she had think positive and believe that everything was going be alright and they can work it together and that she was not alone.

"Breakfast sounds good, Brandi you should make what you want or what you like." Miguel added knowing that Brandi liked to cook. In fact she was a lot better than he was. Since most of the time things that he made just ended up going up in smoke or burnt it by accident. He nodded as he went back to letting Kyra drink from her bottle. Once she was done sucking on it she pretty much drank the whole thing except for a few drops. Which was good for him. He knew that this parenting thing was a bit hard, but he knew he and Brandi would figure it out soon enough.

That was when Miguel also realized something knowing they had forgotten a family member. Or at least, hadn't visited him in awhile and he felt a little bit guilty. "Once things get easier for us, Brandi we should let Gabriel see his niece. I think he'd be really happy." Miguel said knowing the last few communications he had with him he had told Gabriel that Kyra was coming. But now it was official that she was here. It was sometimes odd being in different times, and texting didn't always work. "We can also bring Blaze, I feel bad about leaving him hear by himself." Miguel said, knowing they could ask Sam to pet sit, but that didn't seem right since they would be gone for a few days.
