The Start of Summer (Katherine)

Kaine had been out most of the morning as he was with the web warriors on a mission. But luckily for them it had managed to end early, Kaine had wanted to start getting ready for the 4th of July mornings and perhaps take the boys, Kaioa and as well as Katherine to the park for an afternoon of fire works and grilling out foods like hot dogs and hambergers. After all it was the official kick off towards summer. And who could say no to that. Kaine this time stepped through the front door seeing that it was his and Katherine's house. As he got in he took off his mask, "Kaiden? Katherine are you guys home? I am off from work finally with SHIELD." Kaine called out hoping that someone would answer. As far as he could tell the lights were on which meant someone was around. Not to mention they had an infant daughter that needed constant care. May had been a big help lately with taking care of the twin boys and not to mention letting Katherine have help when she needed it.

"I'm home! Anyone here?" he said as he went up stairs to go change out of his suit. It was sweaty no surprise there. The hot weather hadn't exactly helped in wearing it while he was out as he hung it out ready to dry in the wash. Kaine luckily had spare suits, thanks to SHIELD. He had one lying around there probably in his locker or something. So at least he'd be ready and ok with that. So far it seemed silent but he did notice one of the boys playing in the backyard on one of the swing sets. The boys were off for the summer and wouldn't have school just yet, but he knew the two twins were smart, it ran in the family on both sides.

Katherine was smiling and was feeding Kiaoa and gave the boys some lunch sandwiches with some juice. She heard Kaine was home and just smiled little she had gotten home a few moments ago about hour or two.She then walked towards his voice still holding her little girl " welcome home Honey how's work " she almost looked really tired since she has been running all day taking care of kids.

She actually loved being a mom it was the next great adventure and she wanted the children to have a great one. She didn't even have her inducer on as and was in her really fourm. She was relax when she was with cat since he didn't judge her and wasn't as prejudice as some people in this world but it has been getting a bit better since some people consider her hero an not a monster.

"Heay Katherine why don't you rest? You look like you were tired...maybe as tired as I feel." Kaine said. As he came in he gave Kiaoa and Katherine both a kiss on the cheek as he was glad to see they were both alright. The house had the air conditioner on no doubt due to the bad heat wave that had come to the area. Which was good. "Well the web warriors were sent out to catch some bad guys, mostly just thieves, but I think we got sluggish towards the end because of the heat so SHIELD gave us the day off." Kaine admitted knowing even super heroes felt the heat from time to time.

"But I am glad SHIELD gave us the next few days off. Something like that is rare." Kaine said as he got a cold drink of water from the refrigerator seeing that it was stocked up on food and drinks so they were all full for the week ahead. "You know we could always ask May for help again I know she is a great baby sitter for Kaiden and Kade." Kaine offered in case Katherine wanted a break and the two could be by themselves. Once the kids were older probably they didn't have to worry about them so much. Not to mention in the spring, Kaiden and Kade were going to preschool together so that would be interesting new start for the twins.
