When they were going on a snow trip this isn't what Sam had in mind exactly. His feet were freezing and he was certain that his teeth were chattering non stop since he had been out there. They had been gone for some of the day traveling there by a jet from the Hellicarrier which was parked safer down at the mountain as they climbed up. "Ok it's cold I mean really cold." Sam said mostly complaining Brandi had heard it about fifty times by now. Sam had wanted at first to decline the idea of coming out here since he was mostly used to the heat and instead found himself in freezing cold snow. The heat of course was him living in Arizona all those years so the desert came to him naturally.
After going for some time longer Sam decided it was best to stop as he put on a jacket seeing that he needed a coat as he took it out of his bag, only problem was it might ruin his reflexes or anything else in being a Nova. But he was at least glad that he was no longer cold. "Ok I'm sorry for all the complaining Brandi...if we are going to see the Yeti soon I hope they come at least." Sam said as he thought he heard a low rumble nearby up int he mountains. "Ok that wasn't my stomach." Sam said as he looked up through his nova helmet and so far he didn't see anything registered there. Maybe it was an avalanche on the other side of the mountain?

Brandi was getting really annoyed with Sam's complaining about the cold but she tried to refrain from hitting him.When he got the fiftieth time she clutched her hands with her hands shaking " Dammit Sam shut up and put a fucking on jacket " She snapped at him when finally puts on a jacket she couldn't just relax for bit she had knew they had to take this seriously.She had her own team some of them interested in the science of cryptids and other supernatural beings .
The reason they were on this mission first place were because of the reports of people being killed by a giant white beast.The people were calling this creature a Yet or something she knew about these kind of things but towards cases were very unlikely it might be bear or something. She always is willing to believe anyone who told about the supernatural because it was her duty as a demon hunter and she knew these kind of things happen.When he told her how he was sorry that he was complaining she just nodded " and sorry if i snapped at you " When he finally puts on his jacket was when she heard the rumbling sound.
She stared towards the mountain and nodded little bit towards Sam and his comment about it being maybe avalanche on the other side of mountain " yeah it might be unless you want to talk this out then " She was ready to actually do there investigation if he was ready otherwise she will be the first one out there. She then responds to his comment about it not "it sounded like a roar to me it could be some kind of creature ..." She had very sharp sense because of her abillies. She looked towards Sam if it was some kind of dangerous creature she just hoped she was able to protect him or they can take it down.

"Ok I'll be quiet." Sam said as he felt bad about the complaining but it wasn't helping at all with the temperatures. Sam was worried about the Nova force, would it still work despite not him being able to feel half of his body? Well there was only one way to fight out. He had been in the cold before but he never knew about something like this bit. As he looked up he did see some sort of unknown image appear on his helmet hub and it couldn't figure out if it was an enemy or foe. "Uh Brandi-" he was cut off as he saw that there was something showing up soon that looked like a white beast with all kinds of fur.
"I forgive you about the snapping but it looks like we have something else to worry about in the mean time." Sam pointed out with a finger through his gloved hand. That was when the beast roared again as it came right towards them. "And another few words, get out of the way! He's charging." Sam said as he flew out of the way trying to urge Brandi to do the same, though she might have another plan compared to Sam's flight or fight response. He looked like he could be at least seven foot and had an ape like appearance. Apparently he might be angry at them for trying to get on the property.

When the beast had charged towards with his fur caked with blood attempting to cause great harm for the both of them. Brandi had experience with these types of beast and knew that these things are fast and unpredictable. She had noticed that the creature had just gotten done with killing its victims and now it was after them. Brandi didn't have the time to speak to him as she took out her weapon and then loaded in a yellow bullet chip and then aimed towards the creature's body and sends out a stream of electricity towards it.The blast from the weapon was widen and bright and it was hot enough to melt the snow if it touch a human being depending on their resistance it could knock them out.
She stared towards Sam to make sure he is going ok the gun might even piss the creature off but her weapons usually worked on most demons that she had faced. She knew that Sam had plenty of experience with Shield but that doesn't mean that she could let him get hurt if he dies here it would just destory her and she will never trust anyone to go with not even Miguel.

The monster was even more enraged now, whatever happened had pissed it off and Sam knew this was going to be bad. Sam was about ready to dodge it as he hovered in the air a few feet away from Brandi. He heard a loud shot come off as Brandi struck it with a weapon, and it certainly did damage. But it also angered the yeti as it limped forward towards them, Sam was about to put his hands out by the Yeti to put a Nova force to try and stop it, but he noticed the creature was being blinded by the bright blue light his Nova Force created.
"Yeah that's right you better not like it!" Sam called out as he felt his body burst into a bright light again as he held his arm up to stop it from causing him to go blind. He knew Brandi might be affected by it too before it disappeared from his body again. By that time the Yeti was about ready to run and flee from the area, but it was clear whatever had angered it was long gone by now. "He's gone but I have a feeling that won't be the last time we see him." Sam admitted as he crossed his arms. "And I'm sorry if I acted like a coward back there, Brandi he just came out of no where." Sam said knowing nobody liked a coward. But some how he had a feeling they should follow the Yeti tracks, they obviously went somewhere, and there were splotches of blood in the snow too.

Brandi lowered her gun as the beast runs away from them as Sam blasted it the tension was pretty high for her because there is aggressive creature is still on the loose . She sighed little bit towards him when he said sorry for being a coward but she was amused that he made yeti actually run away from Nova .She was trying to recover from the bright light that was coming from him as she blinked a few times.The creature looked even angrier than before even though it could tear them from limp to limp ir was scared away.
She then responds to him and shook her head little bit " its ok Sam i was scared too yeah we still gotta track him again before he hurts more people " She couldn't blame him for running even though she didn't actually run from the creature because knew that wasn't a good idea. Brandi beads down towards the blood and scanned and looked towards the readings with interest it seemed that creature had some kind of illness that caused it aggression since these creatures are usually afraid of human and would never attack unless it was defend itself or territory.

"Heay Brandi is it just me or did that Yeti seem a little....odd? It was acting so strange and agressive. Most stories we've heard of Yeti's they like to be elusive and want to be left alone." Sam said as he hovered a bit and landed feeling that some of his energy had been whipped out from him from that blinding attack. There was only one thing to do now and he didn't like it. They had to follow the trail to find out some more answers of it.
"One thing is true I'll always have your back and Miguel's back no matter what happens." Sam said as he crossed his arms showing he was serious that time around. Brandi was probably used to Sam's stubborness by now, but he meant what he said on it. Sometimes Sam and Miguel even clashed on different ways of seeing things, this had been true when they were younger, but when they grew up a bit more they learned to settle their differences without arguments or fist fights. In speaking of Miguel, Sam had probably figured he was on a mission with the Web Warriors, since he left them a few text messages to show he was alright and alive. Sam's phone was turned to silence in his backpack since he needed to focus on the mission. "I'm sure Miguel would've wanted to come with us too but I guess he had other things going on." Sam admitted as he knew they worked well as a trio.
