A New Family Arrival (Katherine)

[Kaine Riley-Parker]

Nine long months had passed since they had been together and married. Kaine felt like he had a family and a wife, he was going to be the best husband he could be since he knew he had no real parents of his own. The Riley's...He only had faint memories of them in his mind and from what he had been told they met with a tragic end. But he at least kept their name with the Parker family tree too. After all his genetic template 'brother' was Peter Parker the first Spider-Man.

Kaine had been web swinging that evening mostly to clear his head as he had his Scarlet Spider suit on but he knew he had to go home soon. As he arrived at the familiar apartment building he climbed in through a back window and opened it. The lights were on knowing Kaiden and Kade were home, and he wondered if Katherie was too. "Heay anyone home?" Kaine asked as he looked around. He quickly changed int There was a new addition to the family as well as he entered the baby room. A new born was resting in the crib that was her bed. Carefully he picked her up as the daughter of the growing family looked to resemble both Katherine and Kaine in similar ways. "Heay there kiddo how about we get you something to eat?" Kaine asked as he heard a soft giggle come from her as he went to go get some milk for the newborn she had only been a few weeks old now.

But it did occur to him that something could be true she might have powers, of both her mother's Katherine's and Kaine's abilities of being a spider or a cat like Katherine. Only time would tell if she got older they might show. But the good thing was she didn't have to worry or fear anymore about them. And for now she could live in peace with her brothers. They decided to name the new child Kiaoa but her full name was Kiaoa Riley Parker. It was a cute name for sure.

Katherine smiled as she heard Kaine come home and picked up their daughter she had been given her leave to take care of the baby and bond. She had decided name her Kiaoa because she thought it was Beautiful name.She wanted to be great mother even better than her own parents and have three children to take care made her feel happy.

She was one of those mothers that would anything to protect her family even it means that she was to fight to the death .The hardships and the great times are never dull moment although it was not exactly easy because Kade and Kadien often get them themselves into mischief such as sneaking cookies from the kitchen before dinner or randomly dropping from to ceiling to surprise their parents.She was always proud of how smart they are and how far they have gotten over other children she hoped the same for her daughter as well .She comes into the room where Kaine is and spotting him with their daughter " hello honey welcome home  "

Kaine looked up from where he was holding Kiaoa as he smiled. He was glad to see that Katherine was doing well. From the looks of things everything was alright here. He knew SHIELD needed him as Scarlet Spider but he also needed to stay alive for the family and not go on seriously dangerous missions. He wanted to see his daughter and two other kids grow up as well. Kade and Kaiden were well on their way to reaching about 4 or 5 years old now. "Hello there Katherine how are you today? I tried to get off of SHIELD early today to come home and see everyone. Fury wasn't too happy by it but he understood at least." Kaine admitted.

He reached over as he gave her a soft kiss on Katherine's cheek. "Do you want Kaioao?" Kaine asked. "She is asleep in my arms and I think she doesn't mind being with her parents." Kaine offered knowing that holding a baby was something they needed to get used too. He was glad to see that Katherine was fine and it looked like the boys were asleep possibly taking naps. He could use a rest as well but he knew family was important too.

She smiled little bit and as she looked towards her Daughter's yellow tail as it was curled around her waist seeing it.Kiaoa looked really relaxed as she took her into her arms. Katherine was hoping that they will have a good family seeing that they have their enemies since they are both superheros. She was as she cuddled her child and then looked towards Kaine " so did anything interesting happen today Kaine how is work ? "She didn't actually do much at moment just some outside classes that she was trying to teach them survive in wilds.

She had already checked on the boys who were in deep sleep like they had along day of playing. She was happy to be home though even though she could have just taken Kiaoa with her to introduce them to the rest of x-men. She realised t Kiaoa might have just gotten her father's hair even though she is too young to have any hair just yet.

"Well nothing out of the ordinary happened today really. The web warriors did a lot of training with young members on SHIELD. Fury emphasizes on that a lot." Kaine said recalling how sore his arms felt on some of those training situations. If you could think it up Fury would always be there to make it the extreme by any measures. Not to mention he was coming home probably with tattered or worn Scarlet Spider suit which he didn't care for one bit since he was constantly fixing his suit. "But that is good sometimes no news or nothing going on is alright too." He added as he looked over at Kaioa as he was glad to see that she was adjusting to her family and hopefully soon sleeping through the night.

"Hm I wonder if we should show Kaioa to other family members. I know the web warriors and other x-Men would be excited to meet a new addition. I told them a lot about her...In fact I'm proud of all three of the kids." Kaine said giving Katherine a smile. Sometimes Kaine didn't always show that as he could be a bit rough but it was probably from his own up bringing as some heroes saw him as a bit stubborn and a grump since he worked a lone so much in the past. Even went on a villainous side before changing his mind on that.

Werecat just smiled little bit as listened to his story about his day she didn't have much of story to share about hers .When he had asked about showing their daughter to the rest of the family she just smiled and nodded little bit " of course we can Kaine and i can do the same with the x-men " She only met at least two of them which were Richard and Miguel and May.

She wasn't sure what do right now but it was late night and their Daughter actually needed to rest right now. She wanted to go out somewhere but was it a good idea. She was pretty compassion when it caring for people but at times she can very shy around new people. She was actually do better as late and has been able to at least talk to her family and other teammates she managed to even make friends.

"Hm how about we look at the stars tonight, Katherine? We can go on the roof while the kids are sleeping? It'd be a nice way so we can catch up on just the two of us." Kaine said knowing they could lock the doors. Kaine also had a way to check on the kids through their phone security to make sure everyone was alright. An hour or two wouldn't hurt them to be left alone while mom and dad were together. "If you don't like that idea, we could find something else to do." Kaine knew that most nights some of the bad weather or all the light pollution in the past had caused it to be really bad to see it. But lately some nights were really good to see the stars even if it were a few in the city.

"I'm sure we can find something else to do if that doesn't work." Kaine offered as he sat down next to Katherine. He was glad to see that their family was alright and was doing well. So far things were ok and he actually felt at peace instead of struggling the whole time with himself.
