The Night of the Vampires (Open! Site Plot)

Scarlet Spider knew things didn't seem right tonight as he rested on a nearby goblin. The creature had a smiling face as it looked down at unsuspecting New Yorkers. He was alone as he sat there, the older spider hero seemed to be deep in thought not sure on what to do by himself. New York was safe for now. Scarlet Spider put out his webbing as he flung himself through the city just like good old times. However he didn't seem to notice that someone was following him, and he didn't know who at this point. As he turned he felt someone grab a hold of him on his shoulder. "Let go of me! This isn't a place where you can hitch a ride!" he called out as he was stunned to see a large grey like human on top of him as he swung forward he landed on a nearby building.

"Must feed on the spider!" The human said as Scarlet Spider swung the guy off of him and he brought out his stingers. He knew this wasn't going to end well. "Here's a news flash punk I'm not going to be anyone's snack to night. Especially not a vampire." Scarlet said knowing this wasn't his type of area but he knew he'd have to defend himself in it.

The human rushed forward as he was surprised by the strength coming his way as he yelled out in pain. "Let go of me!" He said as he felt something sharp bite into his shoulder. Kaine yelled in pain as he felt the venom go through him. "No! No I need to fight-" He said as he heard the human speak up.

"You are fighting a loosing battle spider. Give in and become one of us." the vampire said as Kaine yelled out in pain but he was able to at least to make a warning call to any super heroes in the area that something bad was about to happen to night. He felt his body change as the venom ran through him. He had sharp like canine fangs come into his mouth and he wanted one thing only that was blood. "Welcome brother." The vampire said. "Now let's go find our king, Dracula." he said as he began to head out into the direction of where Dracula was hiding.

Valrulfur grumbled as he left the small mansion the Dark Avengers resided. Though he couldn't argue with the benefits of being on the team brought the one thing Val did find irritating was the fact all three were teenagers, and tonight he had grown tiresome of Victor blasting the old eighties music for the past three hours while he hacked some databases. The cyborg refused to turn it down and to avoid tearing apart the kid or half the mansion in the ensuing confrontation he had decided it was best he leave to cool down. And honestly, New York wasn't nearly as bad as constantly listening to horrendous music in this place.

Letting out a soft sigh as he left the mansion grounds, Val soon found himself heading away from the lavish area and into the busy streets of the city. At least here there was variety of sound and it no longer gave him a pounding headache due to his sensitive hearing. Luckily, he was also in his more human state, raising no suspicion that he stuck out like a sore thumb, only getting occasional glances due to the skull-like amulet around his neck. It was there until he changed to his now natural state and was inactive for the time being.

But a sudden yell from above caused Val to pause, the Asgardian werewolf turning his gaze upwards as some people continued past him, no doubt not quite catching the sounds he was. He had to squint his eyes to figure out what was going on until he caught sight of a red and black suit disappearing around a corner with what appeared to be a rather gray skinned human, 'Now who would be so bold to attack Scarlet Spider in mid-swing?' The young Asgardian thought before he rushed off to the nearest alley, making sure it had a fire escape. He also made sure no one else was around before his eyes glowed a deep green and he shifted to his werewolf state, armor and all. "Time to see for myself."

With a low growl, Val launched himself upwards, grabbing the metal railing that creaked against his weight before he was leaping upwards a few more times and finally pulling himself onto the brick roof. He took a moment to sniff around before two scents caught his attention, the werewolf dashing off to follow on all fours, crossing a few roofs until he came across the duo, "Don't suppose you mind me crashing the party a little?" Valrulfur spoke up before the two could get far.
