It wasn't every day he got a day off from SHIELD. It happened every once in a great while. But it was a great feeling as the older Nova flew over the New York area and not one of them suspected that the blue light was a human flying above. The light from the city probably held it off for a bit but he didn't seem to care if they saw him or not. In fact it was a little funny to see their faces as they saw a flying Nova over head. To think that there were thousands of humans in New York was hard to believe. It sort of dwarfed where he lived in Arizona where it was a bit sporadic with the people that lived there. Except for a handful of cities that were there probably added up the amount of the population. Why his parents found this to be a great place to live was unknown to him he never bothered to ask. Maybe the heat drew them in? He'd have to remember to ask his parents the next time he saw them.
After finding an alley way to land the young man flew down into the alley way and took off his helmet, his costume coming in with him since it was an easy way to get it off. Once that was taken care of he was free to walk around with the other civillians. It felt wierd yet it was great at the same time. He knew that it wasn't every day that he walked among the other humans but he liked it. He put the helmet in his backpack before walking along down one of the streets as he saw all the gift shops and others selling clothing and food. He didn't know where to begin with this but just a nice walk down New York sounded good to him.
Still on this afternoon he couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen. His helmet was safely on his back if he needed it. But right now everything seemed normal in the city. "Hm maybe it's nothing to worry about." Sam said to himself as he felt like a tourist would normally feel in the Big Apple.
