Heay guys here's a quick run down on the application in case anyone is interested in what we're looking for:
1st name (Bolded on top) Full name of character/code name
For example I'll be using the canon I rp named Nova:
Sam Alexander/Nova
Affiliation: Any of the available teams like Dark Avengers, SHIELD, Avengers, or unaffiliated or undecided
Aligned: Good/Evil?
Height: Are they 5"0' or 6'0" height can very upon the character.
Weight: Same as height it can be in lbs like 150 pounds
Gender: Male or female?
Age: How old are they? We are looking for a number.
NOTE: If you have a character who is in the thousands of years old be wary that you have a LOT of history to cover.
Personality:
How does your character react to things and the world around them? What do they like, dislike? A detailed paragraph should be good enough. Or fears even would work here.
History:
This is probably one of the toughest ones here, we're looking for some basic things to write down here.
There's always a starting point and usually begins with the parents.
Sam's family:
Jesse Alexander (Xandrian human like being)
Eva Alexander (Sam's mom and Jesse's wife)
Kayleen (Sam's younger sister)
For Kaine/Scarlet Spider it's a bit different since he's a clone of Spider-man
Spider-man/Peter Parker-Clone genetic template, He calls Peter his "brother"
Adopted parents: The Rileys (NPCed for flash backs)
Katherine Yiosa (Kaine's girlfriend/Fiance)
Then comes the other questions.
How did they gain their powers?
Where were they when they gained the powers?
How did they react? Where they scared? Did they like them?
For mutants they usually gain their powers around the time they become young adults or teenagers, some are born with them.
For Sam in these he gained his powers at age 15 and through the Nova helmet, otherwise he's human and can suffer blows like anyone else.
However since Sam is a bit cocky he gained a personality that shows he's arrogant and often jumps into things before thinking.
Powers:
Detailed listing of powers, all of them should be connected in some way. Sam's are all cosmic based through flying or even nova blasts.
Weaknesses
For every power there should be at least 1 or 2 weaknesses attatched to make them even. We don't want to see gary sues or mary sues.
Reasons why we probably denied your app:
1) Too strong or too over powered
2) Failed to fix the application or ignored what we suggested
3) Disappeared after 2 weeks, we're assuming you're not interested in the forum
4) Failing to understand the site and the canon you have picked up. (We will be picky with some canons like Thor/Cap because they have to be played a certain way)
5) Arguing with staff.
6) Putting in other universe characters that are not in marvel like completely different animes/cartoon shows.
7) Copying other characters word for word (Stealing)
Note: There is a password that we are looking for. It is in the rules, so we know you have understood and read them.
