PERSONALITY Sam's younger years show that he is a quick and over eager teenager, he jumped on just about everything he could and seemed to enjoy it. However this usually caused him to never consider the consequences, no matter how dire they were in the end. Usually he ended up realizing that he was way in over his head until the last minute. In his adult years, he has learned to be a bit calmer, although there are many times when he's known to get excited over something he likes and enjoys. He has shown intelligence, to be a good listener, and also is a bit stubborn. In his adult years he has learned to cver come many obstacles and also harness most if not almost all of his Nova Force through his helmet and has become quite skilled in the abilities of being a super hero. Since he has ties with SHIELD, SHIELD has trusted him with a high rank since he has been able to prove himself worthy of it since his younger years. HISTORY Jesse Alexander (father) Eva Alexander (Mother) Kayleen Alexander (Little sister) Jesse Alexander is full Xandar from a distant planet far away from Earth. Jesse was one of the lower ranked Nova corps members and often frowned upon by the higher ranked members. He tried his best to fit in but ultimately he felt out of place. At one point, Jesse ditched his life on Xandar and quickly joined the Super Novas, a rebellious team that often went to go to great lengths to cause trouble. At one point they strayed too far and got in the middle of a fight with another unknown alien ship. Their ship crashed as Jesse narrowly escaped with his own life, he was beaten up badly from the fight and found himself falling to earth and went unconscious. As he woke up at one point he found a woman standing over him who was heavily concerned for the state that she found him in. At first, Jesse didn't want to tell Eva how he was so beaten like this, he knew that she probably wouldn't believe him. A couple of months passed as Jesse gained his strength back and Eva couldn't help but notice Jesse's helmet. Finally he came to terms to tell her about Nova and Xandar, how his team had vanished right before him and he narrowly escaped it. Eva didn't hate him or anything but instead accepted him the way he was. Jesse seemed nice after all, so the two set aside their differences. Jesse thought Eva was incredibly kind for taking him in. A couple of years passed and Eva found herself expecting with her first child. He was born and named Sam Alexander. Then about a year or two later, they had another child named Kayleen. But often times, Sam began to grow more and more aware at his young age that Jesse was disappearing. He thought his father could do a better job of being around than what he was doing. After growing up with hardly seeing much of his father, Sam found his father's helmet with instructions on how to use it. Almost every night Sam tried to practice with it until he got confident enough to work on it with his own. One day SHIELD appeared on Eva's door step which surprised her quite a bit, but the agents explained that they were interested in bringing Sam onto the SHIELD group to try and train to be a better hero. Sam at first wasn't so sure about it, but he decided to go knowing they probably knew just about everything and his father. No to mention he wanted to know what happened to his father, so SHIELD sounded like a pretty good deal to him, so he climbed aboard and has been there ever since. It has been about ten years and Sam is still working for SHIELD, he has climbed through the ranks to be a higher up member of SHIELD and someone that they can rely on in apart of it. However, within these ten years, Sam has not been able to find his father on Earth. Which makes him wonder if Jesse is even on Earth at all. Perhaps he needs a trip out beyond the stars. However, figuring out how to do that while SHIELD's back is turned is almost impossible. Powers Flight: As a nova, Sam is able to fly across the world and across the galaxy underneath his own power. It is said that he is able to pass light speed. Energy Manipulation: Sam is able to concentrate from the Nova Force, into a beam or a ball and fire it from his hands. He can also use his energy to create a shield around him that lasts for a temporary amount of time. He can also use the energy as a healing method and is able to remove toxins from the body. He can also heal wounds that are usually small and minor. Super human Strength: Sam can lift up to 20 tons with the increased force of the Nova helmet. Super human speed: He has been able to move at high rates of speed compared to a normal human athlete. Super human durability: Sam has the ability to withstand several on coming attacks that would normal kill or even heavily injure someone. He's been able to handle several concussive blasts and as well as relics being thrown at him from fights that he has had in the past. Xandrian World Mind: Sam has reminants of the Xandrian World Mind in his helmet that allow him to do many feats. One of the ones that have been proven to be useful of course is provide him with an ample source of oxygen since he can't breath out in outer space. He often uses it if he's flying for long distances and he can't catch his breathe. +Universal Translation: Sam's helmet has the ability to translate most other alien languages so they sound human to him. He can talk back towards the alien or other beings without much of a trouble. +Cosmic Awareness: Sam seems to have some cosmic awareness of what is going on with the world. It updates him with things that are going on even when he isn't there. +Enhanced Intellect: His helmet also gives him the ability to know about certain alien origins and cultures that are beyond Earth's. This has been helpful a lot of times. +Hardlight Holographic Projection: Holographic projections can come from his helmet, he has been able to talk to other helmets that can tell him about their past and who their owner is. +Cosmic Atlas: Sam has a Cosmic atlas that shows him around the galaxy. He can reach out towards other novas and see where they are in the world. +Affiliate Recognition: Sam can also recognize other organizations or affiliation teams out there that are well known to him and the helmet.
