Kaine had gone to bed that night rather tired and he knew that a good night sleep would help him. It was about 11 o' clock at night as he put his blankets up and covered him around his body. He thought he saw the faint outline of Katherine in bed as well as he leaned over and gave her a soft kiss on her cheek. Before going to bed doing his best not to disturb her too much since he knew he wasn't helping. "Good night Katherine." He said softly before closing his eyes and fell asleep.
Kaine had a rough time trying to sleep that night as he felt himself moving a lot he woke up a short time later, as he checked the alarm clock seeing what time it was. About three in the morning...great. He sighed wondering what was going on and why he couldn't sleep these days. He stumbled to get up and get out of bed before passing a nearby mirror in the room. He went and borrowed a stool real quick to take a look at himself before realizing something wasn't right. Katherine was shorter than Kaine but this was the first clue something was wrong. "What in the world!?" Kaine's voice was loud but it was softer compared to his as it startled him badly. "KATHERINE!" He was certain that his voice would wake her up unless she was a heavy sleeper as he found himself panicking. As he looked in the mirror he saw Katherine's furry body as he sat down in a chair in case he panicked or fainted right in front of her, none of which he wanted to happen.
"How did this happen?" He asked as he hoped that Katherine hadn't taken on his form at this point but it looked like it was possible. They'd have to learn their opposite powers and how to use them. He didn't know if Katherine could handle being Scarlet Spider. He was violent and had a rough attitude when it came to him sometimes. But she managed to find the kind side in Kaine when they first met a long time ago. he heard loud noises like sirens and car horns out side as he held onto his ears trying to block the noise it sure was painful but he hoped Katherine would wake up soon.
