"Brooklyn isn't as bad as it use to be Kaine, but there are still some problems here." Anya told him, remaining where she was since she had a good view from right here. "Truth be told an occasional new eye here and there wouldn't hurt, but just don't go dragging the Web Warriors here alright? It's already difficult to keep track of which hero comes and goes." Anya told him, her tone serious and full of warning that she might not be so kind if someone else started moving in on her turf. She new there were some heroes from this side of New York or in adjacent areas, but so far she had been the only one concerned with handling the area and would be more than willing to give someone a piece of her mind.
Still she couldn't help trying to imagine Kaine, of all people, teaching younger generations of heroes and shook her head. "Not webbing them to the ceiling for annoying I hope." She chuckled in amusement, wondering how he was handling his anger in such an environment. Sometimes the choices in teachers could be questionable but Kaine wasn't all bad and could teach them a thing or two despite what he felt. "Better you than Hybrid, he'd maybe be fired by the following week." Anya pointed out, knowing Kaine probably could understand what she meant.
"It pays the bills, keeps most of my skills sharp. So, you could say it helps in more ways than one." She agreed, knowing she sometimes if she ever did quit her superhero career she at least had something to fall back on.

"Trust me, I won't be bringing them here unless we get ordered to do that, but I don't think it'll happen. Since other super heroes come here, or something really bad happens." Kaine pointed out knowing that there had been recent run ins with the Dark Avengers and so far they had been lucky that it was something mind. He did notice the serious in Anya's tone as it changed suddenly as he listened to what she had to say about it. "And you're here too I think Brooklyn is in safe hands." He admitted.
"For the record I webbed at least one person up for throwing spitballs at the other students. I only figured it out when my spidey sense went off during the middle of a lesson and it nearly nailed me. Luckily I had the idea to move i time before it came my way." Kaine said making a gross noise from the remembrance of that lesson still stuck in his mind with the kid's shocked look on his face when he hung from the webbing. Kaine was used to it for now but after the kid quickly understood what he had done wrong Kaine let him go and cut through the webbing with his stingers and the kid was freed from his temporary prison. "Yeah Hybrid's temper was indeed higher than mine, I usually blew it off in the training room, that at least helped." Kaine admitted remembering Hybrid rather well, who couldn't with the four symbiotes attached to it.
"Yep it does." Kaine added as he agreed with Anya. "I have also been doing some own work for SHIELD lately since the web warriors have been so non busy these last couple of weeks. I've been body guarding a part of Hawkeye's family one of the oldest girls. She doesn't have any super powers or anything but she does have a good heart." Kaine admitted as he looked down at the city again figuring Lila was probably on her farm town home right now.
"I'll take your word for it. Not like I can really keep everyone out." Anya told him, having to hope that heroes wouldn't be flocking to here the moment news got out she was back. Honestly, she was quite surprised news reports hadn't caught wind of her being back, especially when Spider heroes seemed the biggest target of harassment and ridicule at times. Lately though, the Daily Bugle seemed more than happy to complain about other things going on in the world, so that probably was a plus.
Though she raised an eye brow when picturing some poor kid webbed up in Kaine's webbing, all because a spitball. Anya couldn't help letting a smile threaten to break, mainly because it was a childish thing that most teachers had to go through. "It'll happen again eventually Kaine, kids are no different from most of us as kids. I'd probably have done the same thing if nothing much was going on." Anya chuckled, not being afraid to admit such a thing. "Think of it as making you an official teacher." She suggested.
"Hawkeye has kids? Go figure." Anya said with surprise, never expecting one of the most serious guys of the Aveengers to have had a kid. Well, kids in this case.

"If I come around this area it's usually an important one, I tend not to hang around just for the heck of it." Kaine explained. Though there were many other reasons why he was interested in coming into Brooklyn one of which was still the mystery of his past. But he knew he might not find much here, he probably had a better luck with it with going to Oscorp, however he swore to himself that he wasn't going back there any time soon.
"Yeah I remember being annoyed by most of the Web Warriors when we first met. It was chaos in the group." Kaine agreed on that as they were no different. He raised an eye as the right large red eye on his mask noticed a little change in Anya. Was she laughing at what he had done? Well he's not surprised, a lot of the other kids thought it was probably funny too. Kaine might've not had much of a sense of humor but ever once in awhile there were a handful of people that made him laugh and they had tried pretty hard.
"I did't know either until I met her." Kaine said as he began to walk across the goblin feeling a bit bored it was like he was pacing back and forth waiting for something to happen. He was walking vertically on the part of the wall, if most humans had done this they would've fallen splat on the pavement, but to him and Anya it came naturally. It was perhaps out of boredom too. "She's different than the others. For all I know she could become a sharpshooter like her father." Kaine said. "I can't tell you the number of times I got wacked with those fake arrows." Kaine said as that house was pretty much upside down but for the most part he had enjoyed it and was ready to go back and attempt to avoid the arrows next time. Was he just some giant red target to them? He could only help but wonder that. "Ok I'll admit it I'm bored. There's nothing going on at the moment. No spidey sense going off and no danger." He said wondering if coming here had been a bit....well a disappointment.
"I'm pretty sure things being chaotic hasn't changed Kaine, SHIELD and the Web Warriors will always be chaotic." Anya told him, never knowing them not to be. Though, she figured if Hybrid ever returned things would certainly be chaotic once more seeming as the man had four personalities and each one was almost quite different from the other. Teaching a school full of kids who would someday be the next generation of heroes probably wasn't much different either. So, chaotic was in the job description in her opinion.
She listened though as Kaine talked about one of the girls, Lila, who seemed similar to her father in skill but sounded more perhaps like a her mother? She had only ever heard that Hawkeye was a serious kind of guy and liked to keep things to himself unless it involved Black Widow. "Sounds like one day you might make a good father yourself Kaine, you know, when you and Kat decide to have them." Anya said to him, though also partially teasing him. With them being friends and former teammates she figured a little teasing never hurt between them, it was maybe one of the few things the Web Warriors had found to keep themselves from completely tearing each other apart. Though she couldn't help giving him a soft chuckle this time at seeing his impatience and disappointment.
"I did warn you its not like it use to be Kaine." She explained, finally standing straight and stretching. "But we should maybe call it a night. Its getting late and sitting here waiting for something to happen isn't going to make the bad guys show up any faster." She told him.

"Maybe one day we'll have kids, but not now. I think Katherine and i are still trying to figure ourselves out." Kaine admitted knowing he had still bits and pieces of his past to figure out and unlock. His biggest concern was going to oscorp and finding them there, but he had never worked the courage up to go ahead and do it. It sounds odd, but facing his past was probably one of his biggest fears. He wasn't sure what he'd find, but he had a feeling he wouldn't like it. "Well if we do have kids they'd sure have a lot of Aunts and Uncles." Kaine admitted knowing some would be close friends and others would be biologically related like how he and Peter were, then he knew Anya would probably make a good Aunt even if he didn't say it up front.
"How about you come around SHIELD sometime on the weekend? They're not busy on the weekend as much as they used to be. And you can say that I invited you, they'll understand. Miguel O'Hara is there and so are many others." Kaine offered. He knew Anya might not like the sound of it but it would perhaps rekindle some relationships or friends at least. Miguel O'hara was still coming back and forth from his time to this one and Sam was there too, she probably knew that by now.
"Well I'll be seeing you around, Anya." He said with a soft nod he agreed that it was probably time to go. Giving this take that it was time for him to go. he put out his right arm and folded the two middle fingers inwards as the other two were out and a familiar thwip noise could be heard as he released a long stream of webbing. Kaine shot the webbing forward on a nearby building across the street and swung him self across it only to turn around and head back the way he came. But probably by the time she looked back he was gone. The only trace of Kaine being there was the bit of webbing that would be there. He was good at hiding in plane sight as he hid in the shadows, his red and black costume helped with that.
