It had been a couple of days since Brandi and Sam managed to make it out alive from the space expedition Sam had been spending a lot of time with his father. he had been eating right once more which was good, Jesse was still frail, Sam knew it'd be some time before the older man would gain some weight back but he was in good spirits. "Dad you guys should meet the other SHIELD agents I'm sure they'd like to meet you." Sam said as he had his helmet down on his lap as he let his father eat his lunch and he gladly ate it.
"I'm sure I'll meet them at some point, Sam I just need to rest now...also who was that one that accompanied you into space again?" Jesse said trying to remember every last person he met on the hellicarrier and it had been a lot so far.
"That's Brandi she is one of my best friends here." Sam admitted with a soft smile.
"Are there any girlfriends that I should know about?" Jesse asked as Sam's face turned bright red as he didn't realize at first that Jesse had been teasing his son.
"Dad!" Sam said with an annoyed look. "Ok there is one but I hardly see her these days." Sam said sounding like he should almost give up on Anya. The last time he saw her was a few days before Christmas. He thought there was a spark but each time he was apart from her felt like that tiny spark was going to fade into nothing.
"If you do catch her again you need to tell her how you feel towards her. Avoiding the problem will get you no where." Jesse said as Sam nodded knowing his wiser father was right on that. "Imagine if I hadn't said anything to your mother you and your sister wouldn't have existed in the first place." Jesse said knowing that he was right on that one. Sam sighed knowing it would be a long time until he saw Anya. But when he did he felt like he needed a serious talk with her at one point or another. Sam however had his helmet off as he didn't seem to notice that they weren't alone some red object had appeared on his Nova hub but he hadn't put his helmet on just yet, so he didn't notice the danger that was getting closer. They were supposed to be waiting for Brandi to show up maybe she could get to know his father a bit more too.

Brandi was just thinking that she could just relax today she wanted to see how Sam and his father are holding up. She had gave them some time together since they haven't seen other each for a long time. When she got towards the lounge area felt her mark suddenly tingle and she gripped her arm little bit kind of shivered.There was something really dangerous nearby and she needed to do something.
The creature that was watching Sam and Jessie eyes glowed bright as it flexed its wings using a shadow abilly it bounced into the wall and tries to sneak up on its prey.Brandi saw the shadow formed in front of them about jump towards him "Mr. Alexander !! look out! aghhhh" she shielded him putting her arm as she creature bit down on her.The numbness when though her arm as she shook it and she took out her weapon trying to shoot it but it roared dodged and tried to get to them again.

"Brandi!" Sam said almost instinctively he grabbed his black nova helmet. And right before his eyes his nova uniform came on as he appeared in a bright blue light. "This isn't good I've got to protect my dad and Brandi in this one" Sam said to himself wondering if it was a good idea calling Miguel. It probably wouldn't hurt. It would've made an easy team up since he had done it before with The spider hero and it'd be no different so he sent Miguel a quick SOS message through his helmet to Miguel's phone hoping he'd get it in time. For now it looked like he was on his own which wasn't too bad.
"Dad let me handle this one." Sam said not wanting to argue with his father. Jesse got back as he went towards Brandi to check on her. As Sam's hands lit up as he got ready to send two nova blasts towards the demon cat. He had never seen anything like it before. Nor knew if it had a weakness. "Heay you overgrown furball you should pick on someone who can actually fight you instead of the innocent ones!" Sam said as he flew forward sending a third nova blast to try to not only blind it but also scare it at the same time. Novas were known to be strong and Sam hoped to be the same too.

The creature hissed as it acted like a lion as it circled them what he just said just got it madder because it wasn't the type of demon that spoke and it dodged his blast. Brandi stumbled over as she tried to keep Sam from fighting this thing because she knew what this thing was capable of and if he got bitten as well she wouldn't forgive herself.She was feeling a dizziness as she tried to get up again was in pain wrinced it was a deep bite as the venom from its bite.
She was shaking little bit " Sam just get your dad you out here i will....handle this "She tried get up again little bit wobbly.Brandi knew Sam was strong but at same time she felt that it was her responsibility to protect him. She noticed that she had took the full force of the bit and she couldn't really help all that much. The creature suddenly opened its mouth and attempted to jump at his arm and attempted to sank his fangs into him.The creature maybe be very weak demon but it won't go down this easily and misty body glowed as it flew right towards him as he tried blast it.

Sam knew that he could help out and fight but he knew that Brandi was the older agent here. So he had to listen no matter what. But before he could get out of the way he put up his hands to defend himself instead he noticed that something else touched his body as some webbing hit him and MIguel tugged on it. "Last I checked Nova isn't becoming Kitty chow tonight." Miguel said as he arrived as Spider-Man 2099. As he got Sam out of the way the Nova flew over to his father knowing that he had to protect his dad. And the fact that Brandi was the older agent here, he had no choice but to listen. "Don't worry Nova just get your dad out of here I'll help Brandi." Spider-Man 2099 said.
"Alright I'm out of here." Nova said as he picked up his father. The two flew away in a hurry as Sam's blue trail of his Nova Force. Once he was gone Miguel came over to Brandi ready to help as he put up some webbing around the demonic cat to slow him down. He knew that this was seriously bad. With Brandi down he had to protect her and keep her out of harms way. He wondered though if this demonic cat would react to anything like a human domesticated cat? Although he didn't have one as pets he heard that they were harmless compared to this creature. "Heay fur ball I'm over here. I heard cats liked to eat spiders, I might be a bit too crunchy for you." He said trying to keep the cat away from Brandi as he clung to the wall nearby in the room.

She grits in her teeth in pain as Miguel had gotten there her vision was blurring she was about to lose consciousness She was about to get this thing when she saw that miguel was there.She was glad that Sam and father was safe as she fell over to ground finally.The creature looked towards miguel and growled and then it turned towards him and sends its claws towards him. The creature formed fully it had spikes on its body and it was hairless in a very creepy way.

Miguel managed to get out of the way but he felt the cat claws graze him as he grabbed a hold of his shoudler seeing that blood ran down his shoulder and tore at his costume. That one had been too close. Miguel was now playing no more mister nice guy as he sent out one of his weapons that had been developed by SHIELD. "Eat taser webs, fur ball! If anything you're just a big bully." Miguel said as he sent the webbing blast towards the cat. The webbing hit the feline's shoulder as he was ready to send an electrical current through it that would no doubt stun the cat.
As electrical sparks flew through the air, Miguel let the webbing go as the feline was confused and dazed. Because of that he saw an opening as he jumped off the wall to head towards Brandi who was unconscious from the looks of it. He picked her up carefully seeing that SHIELD agents are coming and rounding the corner, while he would get Brandi to the med bay. Little did he know that was the same area where Sam had gone with his father to get them out of the way. Miguel only hoped that he had gotten there in time as his shoulder bled still while his healing factor was slow.

When Brandi was placed in the maybe bay she was worked on right away since she had faced one of those things before. She looked really bad as lied there.THe creature was killed after miguel had left it there.She opened her eyes to see that everyone was sitting there around her. The whole simulation was kind of hard right now on her.The toxin was very powerful and it could have killed her if she was left there without treatment but miguel just might have saved from that fate
she didn't have anything to say at moment but she did know if Miguel wasn't there she would have been hurt worst then she was right now.They had bandaged her arm and had this.She just wanted to be noble and not let her friends get harmed the creature had somehow gotten on the helicarrier and when she recovered she was going to work on finding that out. THe fact was Shield had gave her something that would slow down the toxin that would keep it from killing her. She actually had faced this creature before and it usually brought really bad news because these type of creatures are controlled by even stronger beings.

Miguel was worried for Brandi in this situation as they checked his shoulder to make sure it was alright. They wrapped it around gently enough so he could still move it. Once his arm was taken care off, Miguel knew that it was only a matter of time before Brandi was a total loss for the venom that entered her body. He took out a needle that had his healing factor in some of the blood. Even Sam refused to leave the area as Jesse sat nearby with the friends and his son.
"Brandi here's some of my healing factor I hope it helps you as much as it does for me." He said knowing that this injection might hurt her but it was the least of his worries right now. "I am doing this not because we're friends but because I love you." He admitted knowing he wanted to spend the rest of his days with Brandi. If it was in this universe or his own it didn't matter to him. Finally he put the needle towards Brandi hoping that this would work. Healing factors were powerful things, and Miguel would be around for some time in the future, he'd be able to live a lot longer than most heroes just as Wolverine did. As it ended he gave her a soft kiss as if a form of comfort towards her and himself, but he hoped that this worked.

Brandi breathing was slowled and weakened but her thoughts were on at least she had saved someone that was important to her friend. The venom was indeed spreading though her as she felt the kissed on her face. She gripped miguel hand as she was injected with the healing factor infused blood it started to fight the venom inside of her body.She had done something really reckless she would have just pulled Jesse out of the way but she also knew that she had to act quickly because she knew these things moved very fast.
The shock from the venom had made her unable to move much because it was really doing really powerful.She started to now breath normally now it took a bit for her recover it actually took about thirty minutes before she was able to wake up.She then saw that everyone was still there.She was glad that everyone was ok and the first thing asked"is eveyone....ok........." she was still little groggy.

"Yes we're fine." Miguel said seeing that he hadn't left her side at all while he was there. He waited patiently just as the others had. Sam had waited and Jessie were waiting in the lounge area. But they weren't going to leave until they heard that everyone was alright. Sam perked up as he heard Brandi's voice. "Everyone's ok, Brandi my dad is right next to me. If anything I flew too fast around the hellicarrier to get to the med bay it was the closest place I could find." Sam said as he stood up glad to see that everyone was alright.
"The demonic cat put up a fight but I taised it with my electrical webs and left it for the other SHIELD agents. I'm pretty sure I paralyzed it." Miguel admitted. "I'll be ok I only got a couple of scratches on my shoulder, they should probably be healed up by tomorrow. How are you doing Brandi?" Miguel asked as he sat on a chair that the other medical nurses and members left him so he wouldn't be standing for hours. He didn't mind spending time with her, even if this was the med bay.
