Rina sighed finally in relief glad to see that the class bell rung as the final classes of the day went out. Some of the afternoon had been taken up from that as it was now about 3:00 in the afternoon. A lot of the kids were done since it was a Friday so they could enjoy the long weekend. For herself she was far more interested in going out side, despite the cold Rina liked it best out in the snow and in the woods on occasions where she could feel almost free to herself. After putting her books in her room she would make a mental note to start doing homework after dinner.
Rina went out side with a jacket on to keep herself warm some of the other younger students were out side enjoying the sun and just simply being out doors while they could play in the snow or just get away from the classes. Rina took a walk towards the back yard seeing that there were memorials for fallen heroes that had been apart of the X-Men or close friends. Some had been close allies or friends of the X-Men but it was clear that a lot had changed since Xavier had first started the X-Men when they came around.
"Things must've sure been interesting back then." Rina said knowing that Logan liked to tell a lot of stories about the X-Men in the past when he was in a good mood. Still she couldn't help but wonder if she had been around to help him. But it did occur to her that there might be other sons and daughters of Wolverine that she didn't know of just yet. She was bound to meet them at some point down the road, but for the most part she seemed to have a mixture of an attitude towards her mother and her father. She was a skilled martial artist and gymnast while on the other side she had the claws and a feral like attitude but nothing like her brother who had the feral like fur and stances that he often did on occasions.
Still Saberclaw was her brother after all, and she had no choice over that one, she loved him like any other brother and sister should. even on occasions though they fought but usually the fights were quickly settled. That was when she turned hearing a voice or something like footsteps it was no surprise at all that her hearing would've picked it up. "So someone decided to come and follow me?" She asked.

Ordinarily, Jimmy would have busied himself with training or talking with his adoptive family back in Canada, just for something to pass the time. Unlike many of the younger mutants there, Jimmy did not have to worry about school any longer when he had graduated a year ago but had made no plans to go to college. Not yet at least. He knew his adoptive parents often suggested it, so he could do something other than what he was doing as a government agent and mercenary, but he found it to be to his liking and told them he would consider it each time. In reality, Jimmy wasn't in much of a rush to continue his education, preferring to learn what interested him and what came his way during his missions.
Today though, he was taking a stroll around the school, not seeming to really mind the cold very much, wearing long khaki cargo pants, boots, and a plane navy blue shirt, something that was normal among his attire. Quite frankly, he was use to such weather so he didn't mind wearing something like short sleeved shirts or shorts, mostly for when he was training though. But his usual stroll had him suddenly pausing, catching a scent that seemed to match his own and Wolverine's making him curious. He had heard there were a few of his father's offspring at the mansion itself, but he hadn't made an attempt to approach them. Not yet at least.
But, seeming as he had nothing better else to do, Jimmy followed this scent for once, which was rather fresh. The person had to be close, causing him to go into attempts of stealth. But the snow made it rather difficult, his boots still crunching softly as he moved, making him cringe each time. So much for being quiet. Unfortunately, his steps gave him away as he followed a young teenager that the scent belong to, causing him to grumble softly and step from behind some of the bushes around the sides of the mansion. If no one looked closely they could have easily mistaken Jimmy for their father, but the blond hair and younger appearance quickly gave it away.
"Can't really blame me can you? Not when you and me share the same scent." Jimmy told her, his voice gruff but there was curiosity in his voice. His closely inspected Rina, and her wild hair and some of her facial structure closely resembled their father. "So, you're my half-sister, one of them anyway. I heard I had siblings at the mansion, but this is the first time we're really crossing paths, isn't it." Jimmy spoke.
"Yes my father is wolverine while my mother is a martial artist named Elektra, she however lives a live in New York who I go to visit often." Rina explained as she looked over Jimmy. She saw a lot of Wolverine in him, it was almost looking like a mirrored reflection. But there were obvious things that were different like his blonde hair and his eyes. But that didn't help make her notice his tough build it was just like Wolverine, and his face angle looked like him too. Rina probably looked like a mixture of her family, she had her mother's black hair and her father's build but her hair was the same wild look that Wolverine had to it.
But her code name was probably unexpected it was Wild Thing. She looked at Jimmy for a bit before giving him a soft nod and a smile to her lips as well. "It's nice to meet you at last. If you do want to see another sibling there is my brother who goes by the name of Saberclaw." Rina said. "My name is Rina Howlet or you can call me Wild Thing." She said offering her hand to shake it if Jimmy was interested in it. Still she gave him a funny look seeing that he was only out in a t shirt, surely someone like him besides Iceman would've been freezing in the twenty below temperatures that had been hiting New York as of late. Not even the city dwellers could escape snow for so long unless they go to Florida.
"Hm you're a couple years older than me from the looks of it but that's just a hard guess on it. Maybe one of these days we Howletts can do a team up to see what we can really do." She offered but in many ways she knew it might not be possible. Since like her brother Saberclaw who preferred a loner streak it probably was the same with Jimmy. Rina didn't mind being alone on her time but she also preferred the company of others too when it was needed most. "I know there's one other sibling out there besides us three a man calling himself Daken. Unfortunately it seems that the man has taken a dark turn and is probably far more feral than we are." Rina said wondering if there was even a chance for daken to come back to the light. Logan didn't seem so hopeful on that one. But that was a total of four kids, who was to say there were more? It wouldn't surprise her in the least.
“Elektra? Well, now those are some genes you probably inherited.” Jimmy couldn’t help whistling, quite impressed of all people his father could have gotten with he had wound up with Elektra. He was quite familiar with her work as an assassin, someone you surely did not want to mess with. Mix Elektra’s skills in martial arts and as a mercenary with their father’s mutant abilities and his raw skills, Rina no doubt had quite the skills of her own. He could imagine if he and Rina were to actually training against one another, they would be almost evenly matched in skill and power sets, something he wouldn’t mind testing out one day.
Nevertheless, he smiled back, shaking her hand in response. “My name is James Hudson Junior, although a lot of people just call me Jimmy.” He greeted in response, letting his hand fall back at his side. “And I go by the codename of Wild Wolf, so I suppose we all have that same thought in mind. Can never have a Howlett without having some kind of animal-theme or wild in our codenames.” He mused, finding it interesting so far any offspring he had met of Wolverine’s all had that trait when it came to their heroics or villainy, depending on what they went for. Though her weird look made him laugh softly, “I don’t quite mind this weather in case you’re wondering. I’ve grown up in Canada around this same weather, not to mention my feral nature sort of adds to everything. So, this weather is relatively nothing.” Truth be told, he preferred this weather over hot days where his body would be working a lot more than he liked, even with his superhuman stamina.
“I’m nineteen if that helps give you an estimation. But, I’m assuming you are like…fifteen, sixteen, give or take?” Jimmy guessed, looking her over once more. Yea, she looked at least about high school age, just a few years younger than he was for certain. But, when Rina began describing others in their family, there was only one of them that he knew of. “Yea, I’ve heard of Daken. There’s no bringing that madman back to our side; he’s a psychopath Rina. If you ever saw the profile on him…” Jimmy had to trail off from there, visibly grimacing at recalling the images of crime scenes and grizzly battles their brother had been involved in. Many were scenes straight out of R-rated horror films, scenes one could hardly imagine. There was no name better than to call Daken, and that was a monster. Even anything Wolverine had done could never compare.
Shaking off these grizzly thoughts, Jimmy focused back on their conversation. “I’m assuming you’re an active member then? For the X-men that is.” He finally inquired curiously. Their parents were heroes, but not all children of heroes were interested in that same life, his adoptive sister being a clear example of this.
"Yes it seems like you're right on the code names." Rina said. "I don't know where I exactly got Wild Thing from but it fit the bill." She added. "And I know of canada I've been there a few times on my own and with Wolverine too. He seems to like it there, and I can understand why." Rina said recalling the fresh mountain area that some of Canada had. They were secluded in the forest, hardly any humans bothered them, so it was like a home away from the institute. She could see why Logan liked it so much, and to be honest, Rina liked it too.
"I am aware of Daken, Our father has told me to not find him or follow him for that matter...I believe him that time." Rina admitted with a soft nod. "And yes my mother Elektra," is known for her martial artists and is very skilled in it. It's no surprise that I follow in not only her path but also perhaps a bit of Wolverine's as well." Rina said but she knew Logan hadn't told her everything about his past. Perhaps that was a good thing. Logan had treated her and her brother rather well even if there were periods of him not being there. Logan was a traveler, an explorer, and a loner, there were many ways to describe him and what he did but sometimes there was just a better way of understanding the man on why he did those things. "Actually you're wrong with the age." Rina said with a soft chuckle. "I am 21 years old." She said putting her hands on her hips, realizing that she might've looked a little bit younger than she appeared.
Rina had no hate towards her other siblings or the half siblings she imagined she had, and in fact she was rather happy that she met Jimmy perhaps one day she would meet other members of the Wolverine family. They seem like they had a variety of powers. Just as Rina and Jimmy had his claws...well sort of his claws for her. "Yes I am a part of the X-Men I am with the younger members that is. I can also help in other areas like tracking, or teaching other members martial arts." Rina said knowing she had her own father's acute senses as well.
Several other areas that Rina had interest in the X-Men were learning how to fly the planes that they had like the black bird. Of course that would happen over time. She liked to fly, heights didn't bother her, and she was also interested in other areas of combat she had yet to learn about. Although Elecktra taught her as much as she could, she was certain that there were moves she didn't even know yet. "So what powers do you have?" She asked deciding to take on some of the questions to Jimmy this time.
"I've lived in Canada all my life, where I was born and raised in fact. I owe a lot to their superhuman team, Alpha Flight, for helping me get this far." Jimmy explained to her, knowing he owed the Canadian based hero team a lot. Not only had they saved his life as a child but two of their leaders had given him a relatively proper life, one that had mostly been normal but at the same time filled with excitement and adventure. If not for the Hudsons he probably would have been in a very different state of mind than he was presently. "Maybe one day I can take you to meet my adoptive family Rina, most of them were good friends with our father." He told her with a smile.
But he was surprised to hear she was actually older than him. Only by two years, but still, she looked far younger than twenty-one. He could figure it had to do with their healing factor no doubt. "Ah, my bad then. You really look far young than I do, but maybe that comes from our different training regimens." Jimmy chuckled, finding it all the more exciting to see what they could do later. She may be older but that didn't mean she was exactly better or wiser than he was. Jimmy hadn't entirely been raised in a conventional way and neither had his half-sister, so there was no telling what things they could do.
When she inquired about his own powers, Jimmy merely grinned, showing his elongated canines. "Pretty much the same as you and dad most likely." Jimmy curled his fists as he spoke, extending his own foot-long bone claws with the areas healing rather quickly, "Bone claws and healing factor, I pretty much have all dad's powers except superhuman strength." It was then a metallic liquid began to flow from the open areas where his claws had come from, coating the bones themselves to resemble Wolverine's adamantium claws. "Except, I got my own twist in being able to produce an organic metal to coat my claws, and my teeth." Once more Jimmy bared his teeth and showed them to his sister as they too became covered in the same odd metallic substance.
