PERSONALITY Richard Parker is the son of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy there's no surprise that he is a kind and caring person towards others, even to the event of helping others. However Richard is young, he still has a lot to learn in being another Spider and the web Warriors will ensure that. Richard is also naive since he doesn't know much about the on going world, for one this isn't his time, and as well as having been constantly protected by his father and mother in his time. Richard also is stubborn, he will do his things his way and often has a hard time concentrating while he is in a group but he will learn to accept a group over time. Richard was also gifted with intelligence like his father being able to understand things like chemistry and as well as science from a young age. The one thing that he has been having the hardest time with is fitting in with this society and one of his biggest fears is failure. While the second fear he has is not being able to find his family. However SHIELD is trying to let him have a family in the Web Warriors since there are other spiders that have gathered for the same causes. Perhaps if he accepts it eventually things may fall into place, but so far things are hard to tell for this spider as he figures himself out in this new world. HISTORY Richard "Ritchie" Parker II was born to Peter and Gwen Stacy during the time of the House of M. Things were greatly different and yet they were the same. We all know the story of how Peter got his powers, He was attending a public science exhibition where a spider appeared and bit him. Peter left Midtown High in daze and not feeling well after that. As he walked an on coming car nearly ran right into him before he jumped onto a wall and dodged the car before it ran him over, and that saved his life. Peter was stunned that he gained these new abilities all of which had been similar to a spider, such as enhanced strength, agility, and ability to cling to any surface. To test out his new found spider powers, Peter went into a wrestling match and donned a mask to conceal his identity. He defeated his opponent easily without beating a sweat. He was then spotted by some on coming reporters who got his attention after the fight, he was embaressed that he didn't have a decent costume and rushed home to make a new one where he developed his spider costume and as well as his web slingers. For several months now Peter continued to work on the wrestling match as he won time and time again, he almost thought about telling his Uncle Ben and Aunt May about the spider bite and the new powers, however they were too occupied with other things such as the money that was coming in. Finally after one evening Peter came in nervously to tell his uncle at least about the powers he had and his uncle was excited to hear about this. This only encouraged Peter to continue on. By this time the mutant war in the House of M was at full swing, many mutants of this time were accused of being bad or even evil. even Peter himself had been accused of one by being the "Mysterious Spider-Man" who kept his identity from the public. He was someone the heroes and other civilians could look up too as he continued to fight crime just as Peter Parker did from the current time. After all this star dome, Peter took a break as he reunited with a school and child hood friend Gwen Stacy, they dated for awhile and then married. A year or so later, Richard was born into the family as Peter took the time to race his son. Things seemed far too realistic and going very well for Peter, he had everything he wanted, star dome, his family, and his powers. However that was when things changed, when Richard was about 14 years old Peter decided to don the Spider-Man costume one more time as he went out noticing that mutants were suddenly missing from the House of M series. This was certainly troubling. He had been out for some time as he discovered someone named Karn, a time traveler from the mulitverse of spider-man's area and threaten to kill Peter and his family which he almost did. Peter managed to escape just in time as he came to his son to get him to safety. He sent Richard through a portal that was much similar to the type that Karn was having, and unknown to Peter, he wasn't sure where Richard would go, but it was better than this time. Richard went through the portal, with his father's House of M spider-Man suit. finding himself in the current world that is going on and is vastly different. SHIELD picked him up after he was wandering around the streets. He caught himself in the middle of a fight with a robber who was stealing from a bank. Richard managed to stop the robber but suffered some severe bullet injuries and had been rushed to the hospital. After staying there the night he was pretty much back to normal with his healing factor, his heroics did get noticed as SHIELD picked him up after he attempted to remove himself from the hospital. SHIELD introduced him to the Web Warriors and also gave him an adopted SHIELD family so he could go to them and be looked after, but so far Richard feels very out of place here. To this day Richard Parker calls himself the "House of M Spider" Or "The Spider" for short. And follows his father's "With Great Power comes great Responsibility." Powers Currently Richard Possesses the abilities of a spider, and inherited them from his father, Peter Parker: Super Human Strength: Richard can lift up to 10 tons with his spider strength. Super Human Agility: Richard's agility, balance, and coordination are all enhanced far beyond the human limits. He is limber, his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as an average human being's. He is able to perform flips, rolls and springs rather effortlessly without much of a problem. Super Human Speed: Richard can move much faster than a normal human and run at much faster speeds. He's been known to catch up to a fast car and race after it. Super Human Stamina: Richard has been known to have much greater stamina than a human being, at most so far he's been able to move for several hours at most it has been 5 hours total, without forcing to stop and rest for some time without having to take long breaks. Super Human Durability: Richard's body is much tougher and can survive some more impact than most humans. He has been known to survive impacts such as falling from a building at a great height, and being struck by an opponent's super human strength. Spidey Sense: Richard has a warning sense in the back of his mind called the Spidey Sense. Here he has learned to understand the basics that it acts as an early warning system towards danger. He can sense it coming directly towards him and react accordingly. However he can't sense danger coming from those he doesn't believe are a threat such as other friends and family members Wall Crawling: After inheriting his father's abilities, Richard has also been able to cling to walls as he can use to mentally control the flux of sub atomic particles between molecular boundary layers. The ability of control is only limited to his hands and feet where he is abie to cling to walls and other vertical surfaces with relative ease. Organic Webs: Unlike his father, Richard has been able to create webbing through his own hands with a small space underneath his wrist. He is able to create organic webbing for several hours before he has to stop and rest before he can let it recharge. The webbing itself only lasts for about 2 hours to stick to surfaces before it melts away. Also the webbing can be washed away by water if needed to be removed quickly. Healing Factor: He has a regenerative healing factor that is able to rapidly heal any injuries that come to him. He will also be granted a longer life because of a slow aging process, Richard will be in his prime while he can probably be about 70 years old, but no one is sure how long this healing factor will last and keep him alive. He however can not recover from broken or cut off limbs, the limbs will not grow back and bones will take a bit longer to heal at least 2 or 3 weeks on average. He also has an enhanced immune system which has allowed him to recover from diseases much faster than normal humans. If he has gotten sick before by a cold he will recover much faster, at the fastest point he will recover 24 hours before something else was spread, however if it is the flu it will probably take much longer. Weaknesses: Parker-Bad Luck: Richard has inherited his father's bad luck by always being late to appointments or certain bad things have happened in the past that he simply can't change. It's not really sure how this bad luck came to be in the first point, but it didn't seem to be that bad when the House of M was around. Now that Richard is in a different universe things seemed to have kicked up, although his father didn't have it bad, Richard now has to face reality without his family. But he has hopes of finding them again one day even if he has to do it alone. Spider Sense Disruption: There are several ways to disrupt Richard's spidey sense if you are immune to it such as Venom or Anti Venom he will not sense a symbiote coming. It also doesn't work if the opponent is a friend or a close family member towards him since he considers them to be good. Ethyl Chloride: Perhaps it was from gaining the spider abilities, Richard has the problem of dealing with the pesticide of Ethyl chloride. It causes him to slow down and perhaps disrupts his powers making him feel ill or even worse like being sent to the hospital. Password here: Cosmos |
