Christmas is in the Air (Open to Avengers)

Christmas was only a couple of days away and Tony found it hard to believe it. Though Tony wouldn't admit it in front of the others christmas's in the past had always been hard on his family. He mostly spent them with his mother and Howard Stark was no where to be seen. But this time he could do better with his family as he had Alaric, Bobby and Jamie as they were sticking together and closely as a family as far as he was concerned that was better than not having a christmas at all.

"Sir the tree has arrived and is being set up now in the lounge." Jarvis explained as the AI binged a photo of what was going on down stairs. A rather decent tree was being brought in on the back of a truck as they were backing it up and a crane lifted it up into the air before placing it down into the part that held it in place. It wouldn't be long before some of his staff members would be working on the decorations and things needed for Christmas to actually work and look pretty. Lights were being strung around Stark Tower to make it even more impressive and to add to the festivities.

"Well I guess I can use this as a break to go and check on everything." Tony said as he stood up from his desk and closed his laptop before going down stairs to check on everything. "Good afternoon Mr. Stark if you're looking for Alaric I saw him checking out some of the refreshments that we put out while some of the staff members worked." One female worker said giving him a soft smile. "Thank you miss I was wondering where my family was." He said wondering if it was just better if he was going to text them instead. He walked over to one table where Alaric had a candy cane stuck in his mouth.

"Uh heay dad." Alaric said with a smile as he took out the candy cane he had eaten the top part of it as it had a fresh minty taste to it.

"I can see you've been sampling the sweets." Tony said with a chuckle. "Have you seen your brother or mother? I hope they aren't that busy." And Alaric shook his head. "Nope I'm afraid not." He added.

"Alright I'll text the both of them." He said as he sent a message towards the rest of the family. "Alaric and I are going to help decorate the tree that just arrived if you two want to help us we'll be in the lounge." He then sent the text to Jamie and Bobby seeing that they just had to wait now.

This was a most unusual holiday for the likes of Becka. She vaguely recalled the traditions of Christmas, but those were memories that were fuzzy and blurry, mostly for the fact she had not celebrated it since she was quite young and before she had been kidnapped as a child. To be seeing these decorations and holiday cheers was most curious and intriguing, something Becka was eager to look more into. Unfortunately, she hadn't had the chance to ask about the holiday recently since she had attended something at the embassy there in New York to represent Wakanda, her home and as the princess regent of her country.

Today she was just getting back to the tower, stretching slightly and giving a soft yawn. It had been such a boring day and thankfully her attire was both formal and casual, traditional wear of her country she did not mind wearing. She had checked into the tower using her ID card before putting it into her sash, a hidden pocket or two present within so she did not lose it. Becka was soon in the elevator, taking it up to one of the recreation rooms, but a sweet sugary smell came to her nostrils and the smell of fresh and synthetic pine mixing with it, indicating there was still much festivities going on. Smiling a little at not missing anything after all, Becka could barely wait as the door opened and she followed the smell of the candy and the sound of two male voices, one being Tony but the other she did not recognize raising her curiosity even further.

When she came to the door way, she quickly spotted Tony and the boy Alaric, which she had never met before nor knew he was the Starks' adoptive son. One of them at least. "Good afternoon Mr.Stark, it smells great in here!" Becka spoke up with a soft smile, her voice respectful and almost mirroring her mother's tone, but there was some difference at least. She approached the two, eyeing the table full of different foods and sweets. "You guys really go all our for this holiday huh?" She chuckled, wondering if her own family ever did such a thing.

But, Becka was soon turning her curious gaze towards Alaric, feeling it was only polite to introduce herself. "And my apologies, we have not met yet. My name is Becka Munroe, daughter of the Black Panther and Storm." Becka introduced herself, holding out a hand to shake towards Alaric.
