It had been awhile since Miguel had gone to New York, without having much to worry about. The Web Warriors had been a some what stressful and taxing job, whenever he was with the group but today had been no different as he swung through New York City. Several times civilians had thought he was Spider-Man from this time but upon a closer look there were obvious differences like the name sake for that matter. Not many knew his name besides Miguel's close friends and Brandi for that matter. He had come to like Brandi perhaps more than a friend but it was hard to say what she thought, the two were different but similar in the same way and he liked that. It was late in the afternoon when he choose to come out to do some patrolling and he wasn't at all surprised if he ran into some Web Warriors along the way they usually came and went, but their base of operation was no surprise in the hellicarrier.
He sent out his arm forward as a familiar thwip noise could be heard as he released some webbing and swung forward on the building with all of his strength. Then landed down on the next one. The process continued for some time before he landed on one building that was good enough for a look out. The sunlight was bright in his eyes but he managed to shield it behind his mask. Unlike other spiders who usually had two eye like areas on theirs, he did not since he could see right through the clothing in it since it was faded like that.
"Hm it's quiet." He said with a soft sigh, almost a sigh of relief. He was glad to see there was a peace of calm feeling in the air as he sat there in a crouched position and watched the city below. All was quiet for now. Then his thoughts drifted to his own home world. He knew last time he had been there things were peaceful, but he just couldn't help but wonder how long it'd last.
It had been some time since Hybrid had found himself in the open in New York, not since his original days of being a vigilante and working with the Web Warriors. Just to walk these streets as a civilian felt odd after having spent so much time as an anti-hero, a SHIELD agent, and for the past five years a black ops agent. To be normal was a little unnerving for someone like Hybrid whose personalities could get edgy and restless with nothing happening. But of course, he felt that way now due to the fact he had been caught up to speed with the latest going-ons in the superhuman community. Old enemies were popping up or making their appearance, some having a new packaging as it were and reviving old legacies. As he had expected, the peaceful times were not to last as everyone had hoped. And his current experience has shown behind the scenes evilness and wicked ways never ceased.
But as he was walking down the street, Hybrid noticed a shadow pass along the ground, causing him to immediately snap his head upwards. It was a glimpse but he spotted a familiar suit that only one Spider-man would think of ever wearing: Miguel O’hara. It had been what felt like forever since he had last seen any of the Web Warriors and felt a sense of pride seeing the spiders were still very much active in the city. ‘At least one thing hasn’t changed.’ He thought, glancing around to make others were distracted as he backed into a nearby alley and ducking behind a dumpster so he was hidden.
Certain that he had not been seen, Hybrid’s malleable form shifted and altered to his “costume”. In reality, this demonic looking skin tight red and black suit was his true form, a combination of four symbiotes into one. “Time to make my presence known again.” He muttered before firing a similar colored webbing and swinging upwards before following through with a few other swings of the webbing. He soon spotted Miguel though, crouched and obviously watching for trouble or something to happen. Yet, the younger man seemed fairly calm which Hybrid wondered if it was a result of lack of danger as of late. Good a time as any to test the man’s alertness.
With a final swing, Hybrid yanked himself up towards the roof, flipping before he came in for a landing, landing silently and in a half crouch behind the red and white suited hero. “Think you’re several years from home don’t you think?” Hybrid asked in a rare case of lighthearted fun, now in a crouch with crossed arms, watching his once former and soon-to-be teammate again.
The sun felt warm against his skin as it went through his costume there was no surprise that his form had gotten some attention since most people these days knew who Spider-man were and the Web Warriors working under SHIELD. But the last thing he had expected was to get attention of someone that was an old face...er maybe make that four faces considering that it was Hybrid. As he turned he heard a voice nearby as he heard what he had to say, "Not from this time? How do you-" He was cut off not many knew that Miguel was from a different time from the one of 2099 where things were different. If anything SHIELD would've known about it, and as well as Brandi his current girlfriend but that was about it.
He finally turned in surprise, that of course was hidden behind his mask, to the direction of where Hybrid was sitting not far from where he was. "Well you're certainly a sight for sore eyes." Miguel said as he came over to his side with a couple of strides, it didn't take much at all. "I'm glad to see that you're alright. The Web Warriors are together, some new faces and some old like Scarlet Spider, and Parker still here, Arana I'm afraid isn't anymore." He said. There was a bit of sadness in his voice knowing many heroes had come and gone from the Web Warriors, but he understood they had their reasons for it.
But there was a reason it had just dawned onto him, and he had to ask, why was Hybrid showing up all of a sudden? To Miguel he hadn't seen Hybrid in ages it seemed like. "I know this is a bit of an obvious question but why are you here Hybrid? I haven't seen you in some time, not since you left. I don't have any hard feelings towards you but I don't know about the others." He admitted knowing the ones like Kaine he could be a tough guy.
But it was probably all an act, deep down that guy did care more than most realized. He had enough to start a family of his own and show some kindness to other web warrior members which was enough for Miguel. Finally Miguel just fell silent as he waited for Hybrid to explain why he was here. Miguel had gotten older, and had probably matured since Hybrid last saw him, which may have been a big improvement.

As to be expected, Miguel was taken by surprise at his sudden appearance. Hybrid expected his usually silent approach would cause a little tension on top of his voice not being as common around the Web Warriors as it once was, but he was pleased to see despite this Miguel seemed ready. But, that didn't stop his former teammate immediately going into explaining what was going on, most of which Hybrid had already heard about and followed by the most obvious questions.
"First off, yea I already knew about Anya and others no longer being on the team. SHIELD kinda debriefed me after they so kindly asked me to return to the fold." Now there was the biting tone Hybrid had become known for, mostly aimed towards SHIELD more than the Web Warriors. He knew they were out there doing their best more so because it was necessary than SHIELD actually forcing them to do it. Unlike them, they weren't formed of alien beings and had been experimented on. "As for why I'm here, because SHIELD asked me to come back. It took a lot of convincing on their part but after some deals were struck here I am." Hybrid explained, unfolding his arms and having his arms out at his sides in a dramatic flair to emphasize his point.
Though he gave his head a slight tilt as he cast a look out towards New York, "I've been working some black ops as of late these days. SHIELD really ticked me off five years back so I resigned, besides you guys could handle things without me needing to be there to begin with. Obviously I was right seeming as you're still around this dump of a time." Hybrid explained towards the young man, or would it be older? At this point he really didn't care. Despite Miguel chronologically being older than the symbiotes based on the timeline, in the here and now Hybrid was the elder. "So how about you? Anything outside the hero gig going on?"
The cool New York breeze brushed against Black Spider's body as he swung from building to building, twisting and flipping as he blew off steam. The sun beamed down on him with such elegance and grace as he was freefalling and quickly shot a Web right before hitting the ground. Jesse couldn't help but cringe at the thought of having a normal life as he passed over the normal civilians of this obscured city.
Jesse is new to the Web Warriors but he new most of the current members and a very few of the past. So when he passed the extraordinary Spiderman of 2099 and the dreadful Hybrid, he had to drop in and say high. He expressed his excitement by showing off and making an unforgettable entrance. Jesse has been swinging for years but hasn't quit got the hang of it yet so when he swooped he started to fumble past them both. 'Smooth Jess..' After gathering himself he turns to them with joy in his heart, pride in his soul, and embarrassment in his mind. "What's up, Web Slingers." Jesse crouched close to the two heroes with his elbows resting on his knees.
