Damien Faolan
PERSONALITY Damien is not known to be out going or even stand out in a crowd. He can be quiet and silent some times, and he has been known to hardly utter a word in some cases. He thinks most classes are boring in his high school however he has enjoyed a few like the sciences and as well as math and biology. He has been shown to be kind, brave and also smart compared to most demons. In stories and folklore they are considered to be evil but Damien has seen that there is some good in the world. He seems to like being by himself, mostly because he is afraid of what some people think of being a half demonic being. Some people have helped him open up a bit like his teachers, and some of the students at the x-man institute. When he is here he has a lot of fun and feelas as if he can be himself. While he is here, he enjoys sports at the institute like soccer or basket ball, and when he's not doing his homework he can be found playing video games or surfing the internet. However he has had a bit of difficulty of making friends since he can be somewhat shy and awkward in situations. Damien also has a fear of blood it seems like he can't handle blood all too easy as it makes him nervous and feel uneasy around others, and at one point he has almost fainted. HISTORY Damien's life was something of an anusual life. He is bilingual in speaking russian where his family is originally from and also english. Damien's story starts off where his mother was a human and his father was a demon from another realm. His parents were known as the Faolan family and lived for the most part peaceful lives, although his mother never once was aware of what secret his father was hiding. When his mother told him that she was expecting a child, the father didn't want a thing to do with it and he told her the truth. This not only scared her half to death but it also left her heart broken. At this point the man left and left the expectig wife of his to fend for herself leaving her alone with her half demon child. Nine months later he was born but his mother was simply not able to take care of him. She left a name in him so he could later find her if it was ever come to that. He named him Damien Faolan and was brought to the United States under darkness where the child was with her sister who also had unusual powers and was a mutant. She was probably the better choice than his mother. Damien for the most part grew up without knowing what or who his family was and considered his aunt to be his closest family to being a mother. One night while Damien was out, he was about 12 years old when things changed he was out enjoying some time with some of his friends from school on halloween. The three of them bet that they could go into a haunted house that was a few blocks down from where he lived. They all went into it, but the only one who remained was Damien who didn't seem to be afraid of the house. As he was about to step out side he felt as if something bad were to happen. A demon attacked him that had been living in the house and knocked him unconscious before he could put up a fight. It was odd, but apparently the demon could sense the heritage in the boy. After Damien had woken up later on that night he had seen that the stress of that attack had changed him. His body had changed as he was growing sharp horns in his true nature and his skin was almost charcoal black. He raced home to his aunt fearing that she would not love him. But this was not the case. his aunt then sat down with him and told him about his birth mother and his demonic father. Seeing this form for herself, she taught Damien how to use magic, and in that magic he began to use his most powerful tool for illusion powers to turn into a more fitting human form besides the one that he had. Damien also had the ability to use hellfire which is some type of special fire that only a few demons are able to use and it affects other demons as he is able to use it with his hands and a form of his own magic. At the age of 18 Damien still struggled with himself to figure out what was going on with him but had to accept it. He knew his life would never be the same after the transformation but he was able to keep his demonic form a secret for the most part. Right now he is trying to find his way in high school and has it rather challenging. No one knows besides his aunt about his true form as he tries to keep it under raps, so he stays quite, and out of sight hoping things won't change any time soon. During late october several years later after Damien had his encounter with the demonic presence he found himself at the same house. Only this time he was alone, with the knowledge he had he hoped to face it, even if it aunt told him that it was a bad idea and it wouldn't be of any use. He came into the house as his second power was unleashed during the fight he was granted a very powerful hellfire ability which allows him to use demonic flames. It burned the demon down to a crisp and left it almost powerless before he fled, the house stood silent as Damien returned a bit battered, bruised but he for the most part was alright. At this time his Aunt thought it was a good idea to join a group of heroes that would be just like him as she asked him to join the X-Men students and he has been there for a couple of months at the xavier school Powers +Magic Abilities: Damien has been able to create magical abilites using the knowledge and practice that he has learned from his aunt. He has been able to use a wide variety of skills such as make barrier constructs, weapons such as daggers, spears, or even sharp objects. He can also heal minor injuries such as scratches and bruises, but some complicated ones include bullet wounds or even deep cuts. Usually these abilities wear off after an hour or so. He also uses his magic through his mouth with the correct demonic language. If Damien's mouth is closed or if his hands are tied up he can't use magic. +Illusions: One of Damien's main abilities is to use illusions in which he casts upon himself and can change forms into something human. He has also been known to cause his form to change into animals that he knows of. If he hasn't seen it before then he can't change into it. If Damien falls unconscious or looses concentration the illusion will disappear. Usually the illusions last for about an hour or so before he looses it and he needs to rest. +Hellifire: Damien has the ability to create a red and orange flames from his hands that is particularly warm to the touch but it will not hurt humans. For the most part it will injure other demons that he may come across. He has managed to handle the hellfire to the point of where it won't injure him to a degree. +Healing Factor: Damien has a healing factor although it isn't quite to the strength of Wolverine's, he is able to survive and heal most simple wounds like scratches, cuts and bruises to even bullet wounds. However if a limb is cut off or damaged severely there is a chance that it may not grow back at all. This healing factor has also granted Damien a longer life. It is not certain of how long he may live, but it is well past the age of most humans. He could easily live to about 100 to 200 years. Weaknesses: Magic: Damien's magic only works if he is able to speak, if his mouth were no longer moving when he uses the chanting spell or if his hands are binded then this would be bad news for him since he can't use the magic. Hellfire: Damien has only used the hellfire a few times and it only hurts demons so he can't use it against humans or other beings. Demonic half: Damien is half human and his true form is a dark ghastly form that only a few have seen. He has horns growing out of his head above his ears, and his ears are pointed while his body has a dark skin colored look to it and he has a couple of tattoos on his arms while he has white hair. Some people might be terrfied of this form and not talk to him or may not want to be his friend. He doesn't like his demonic form all that much because of it but he uses it in dire situations when it is needed to fight or defend himself. He'd just rather be a normal human.
