The Darkest Days (Jamie)

[Tony Stark]

Ooc: This is an AU post in the Age of Ultron between Tony Stark and Jamie and is a closed thread.

Bic: Tony found himself in pain as he woke up as a doctor stood over him as he looked him over. The doctor was no surprise a robot as he was checking his vital signs, pain shot through his skin and felt horribly tingly sensation. "Vital signs are coming back." The machine said as Tony sighed. "What?" Tony asked in surprise as he started to sit up as he had forgotten on what was going on. That was when Tony figured it out as his body was shiny and had a metallic apperance to his form. "What did you do to me?" He asked in a demanding tone.

"Human life form seems to show anger and a demanding tone." The robot jotted down as Tony rolled his eyes that was obviously not the answer he was looking for. "Ultron had hoped that you would be a decent test subject for a new virus he created. As it was fair enough that we injected you with the extremis virus. You went dormant for two days while the virus worked in side you." The virus said. "We almost thought you wouldn't come back but you did." The machine said as he opened up the door so Tony could walk out back to his 'room' it was more like a cell at this point.

"Death would've been better." Tony pointed out as the robot took his hands and handcuffed him. The walk was short towards the cells as they passed many unfamiliar faces. Once he was there he was flung into the cell and he heard the door lock as his handcuffs were taken off through the bars.

"We'll call you when Ultron needs you. For now I suggest you rest." The machine said as he walked back down to his rooms. Tony sighed as he looked out the one window but he felt horribly drowsy from the anesthesia that he had earlier. The sky outside looked dark and bleak. There was anymore sadness that was left in this world it would've been a shame for them. Some how he managed to stay awake as he felt his body come back. But it was weird. he wanted to learn more about this virus that nearly killed him but it seemed he wouldn't get those answers right away.

[Jamie Starflame]

Jamie was in a run down area kind of in a stare she was thinking over her plans of rescuing Tony from this big mess. She was ordered by Captain America that she shouldn't too rashly and act and stay until she was ordered on what to do. The world had become dangerously due to the Ultron attack.She had been training and keeping logs on her sessions she was to point of disobeying Cap and going out there on her own since she didn't feel that they were doing enough.She respected the man above all else but all is that was pretty much gone she knew she that most what must be done.

She placed her goggles over her looking though the green lenses of her as the tech in them read the air telling.The fact was they had lost a lot of friends and family along with other teammates and their allies.The world had been a very dark place since Ultron had decided that humans were worthless beings .Jamie was kind of in depressed state because she was still recovering from all the death. She picked up her blade and decided it was time for her set out to search though it would be along trip.She walked on the ruined street watching out for anything that might hard them.She didn't actually know where Ultron's drones toook but she was determine to find him.

[Tony Stark]

Tony felt horrible the way he was feeling with the Extremis Virus running through him. He managed to sit up and look through the window he thought he saw something move in the distance. He thought of his friends and family members back at the Avengers Tower, that place that had once been a beacon of hope was now pretty much in rubble. He honestly wondered how many super heroes were left, ones that weren't destroyed or low on morale like himself. It hurt him, it hurt him so hard he lost his own hopes at one point to fight. But there still was hope, even a tiny bit of it got him thinking. On occasions Ultron let him work on a lab bit where a machine could be made and he'd get decent parts. This machine hopefully could turn time back on them and change things for good, at least that was a theory anyways. As he looked out the window, he was sure no one was out there. It was almost like desert out there.

At first he thought it was just a drone or a robot. But as she came into view he realized who it was, he had heard of her but he knew that Jamie and himself hadn't had many conversations or talks recently due to the presence of Ultron. Still Tony knew that this might be their chance to get out of here. Looking around he knew there had to get a way to get her attention as he saw a bit of glass on the wall. He knew if the sun pointed at it just right he hoped he could get her attention.

"I Hope this works." He said to himself before hanging the glass shard out of his window and lit it up a couple of times in moris code, if she couldn't read it she'd at least see the light refract off of it. "Over here Jamie." He said rather quickly. Now all he could do was wait and hope she'd respond to it.

[Jamie Starflame]

Jamie heard the light tapping of the glass and her eyes become alert she suddenly drew her blade just in case it was a drone or something since she had to deal with those for the months on her search. The uniform she was wearing wasn't in the best condition since she has been on the road for while it had took her awhile to get where she was. She then walked carefully with her sword at her side and saw that it was Tony.She was glad to see that he was alive.She wanted to believe that her  mission was good even she had gone kind left without permission and if she survives this she would be very lucky but she will be in hell lot of trouble.

The woman's morale wasn't on her usual level she had done thing that she would never do usually she was covered in oil and grease from slicing apart some of the robots that she had to fight and even the Ultron controlled people. She actually was trained to understand Morse code as she saw that he was calling her over to him.She quickly goes over but she didn't have her guard down.The time was not for being too trusting because was possible that this could not be Tony at all it could be one of many copies of the fallen heroes that he used.

The fact was she was letting her emotions take hold of her judgement right now but she wants to believe that she could really get out there if this was really him. She then waited him respond to her she was usually very careful but at moment her hope was pretty high at moment. She had her hand loosely on her the Hilt of her blade like she would draw it on him if he was to move to attack her.

[Tony Stark]

"Jamie I'm glad to see it is you." tony said. "And before you ask it really is me. Not one of those copies or clones." Tony said shaking his head knowing Ultron went to far for that job. As he looked over the window he knew it was only a matter of time before one of the robots noticed that there was something going on. "Jamie listen carefully if you do trust me then you should be able to get past the security here, I can probably discharge the alarm systems for a few seconds." Tony said but it was obvious he was too tired to do much as he sighed. That was when he cringed feeling the pain sweep over him like a ton of bricks, he had to sit but he spoke loud enough for her to hear him.

"ugh I don't feel like myself whatever those robots did it sure did make me feel horrible." Tony said with a frown. "I'm sorry if I'm useless in this Jamie. But getting to me hopefully shouldn't be too hard. There are a couple of doors, with several security robots, I hope if you can get past those you can find my cell." Tony said. "But I understand if you don't want to help you look like you are in bad shape yourself." Tony added as he had to stop and do rest. "If you don't want to help get out before the robots notice you." He said making a serious warning tone on that last one. The last thing he wanted was Jamie to get hurt or harmed by the very same robots that did damage and experimented on him.

He knew for certain that there wasn't much time left so Jamie had to react rather quickly on getting out of here. And he knew it had to be done soon. "Hurry Jamie, I don't mean to rush you but we don't have much time." He said knowing the robot security ones could be back any minute.
