As she was offered a seat, while intimidated and nervouse, she still tried to lighter the mood. " I do not do well with chairs. " She smirked slightly and then listend to Cerise and the Professor. She was very nerous on meeting most new people, and it was not different in this case, she was sweating and could already smell a slight horse smell on herself. This made her want to just run out of the room in shame. She nodded when he asked her how she saved the other girl. "Sir, while i am not hero material, helping Cerise was the right thing to do.... i have suffered enught bullying and humiliation to try to help others who are also bullied and harmed " Obaara said and for a short second, actually collected enught courage to look the man in the eyes, before, looking away, slightly, once again. She listend to him while he spoke and after a few seconds, she nodded slightly. "Sir, i would be honored to join, i never had many friends due to the way that i looked and look " She spoke and added. "So i hope i will be able to fit in. " She added. She listend when he spoke and cound not side a solft smile. " Yes, i am familiar with demons... myself being born as a half demon... more demon then human... this ruler, being Azezel, yes? " She sais and looked at Cerise, thinking that, if the blue furred demon-like girl was a part of the X-Men, then another half demon like herself would be allowed to stay as well. As the professor spoke again, she nodded. " Yes, sir, i would be honored, and i hope that my presense here will not be a burden to you or others. " She nodded, still some what intimidated, and by this time, she smelled like a sweating horse, but could not help it.
"I understand I did not have many friends either when I was growing up either. I fell into the path of learning and trying to use my own abilities." Xavier said. "I can read the mind of others, you can contact me any time your on school grounds as long as it is important that way through the mind." Xavier offered knowing it can be quite challenging. Cerise nodded as she listened towards Xavier as he explained what her race is. "I also have a brother, and a sister, Obaara they are just like me, well in the demonic area maybe you can meet them one day when you're up for it." Cerise suggested wondering if Obaara wouldn't mind that at all.
"Yes you will not be a burden Obaara, we have many mutants here who have troubles of their own. The first set of mutants I brought, the first set of X-Men that is had their troubles. Cyclops could not see like normal men, Kitty Pryde fell through the walls, you name it they had it." Xavier said. "Cerise can show you the rooms up on the further floors, we have some single rooms that are open for those who need it. I think you'd like one." Xavier offered seeing that they would be dismissed now and they could go as Cerise jumped off the chair. She also noticed the smell but didn't seem to mention it or anything. "Feel free to explore the building you two I'm sure you can be walking the floors here for days and get lost." Xavier pointed out as he looked back at the door as it seemed to open on its own. But it was really the man himself opening it with his powers.
"We're pretty much done now, Obaara we can go if you want." Cerise said knowing that things might've gotten in tense here. But she could understand how Obaara was nervous or even worried. Being around the headmaster certainly was something that you didn't get to do everyday. Usually it was for something serious or dangerous, or even getting into trouble which was something that Cerise didn't do to often.
Obaara glanced at the Professor for a long moment, he seemed like a good person, but she still was intimidated by being here and meeting him. "Telepathy is a very strong power." Obaara said and then realized who she was talking to, so she fell silent untill he was done talking. On herading that many other mutants had and have a hard time controlling there powers, Obaara finally relaxed somewhat, and grew hopeful that she would become a trusted and liked person, even with her unique physical features. As the Professor told her that Cerise will show the empty rooms, Obaara was numb for a long second. Was such a great thing, really happening to her or was she just dreaming it? She involontarily let out a small smile when she heard about the size of the mansion. When the door opened without anybody touching it, Obaara looked back at the Professor, and became really impressed. Two, very useful powers... this caused Obaara to think 3 times on messing with others with Telepathy anytime soon. She was just a demon, not some goddess. She was about to turn but nodded to the Professor. " I thank you, again. " She said before she carefully turned around and followed Ceries out of the office. Once they where out, she shook her head visibly slightly relieved. " I just hope there are not too many stairs around here. " She half joked but was actually serious.
"Yes when used in the correct and proper ways it can be very handy." Xavier explained with a soft nod. "I learned how to control my powers and I hoped to help other young or older mutants with their abilities as well." Xavier added as he watched the two young girls as Cerise got off her chair. She quickly walked forward with Obaara seeing that they could leave now. Even Cerise was glad to see that the meeting had gone well with Xavier perhaps they could meet again with another good note. Maybe once Obaara was used to things in the mansion. Cerise nodded when she heard her mention her problem with stairs.
"We do have elevators, Obaara or if you want I can teleport you." She offered. "But I know sometimes teleporting can be a bit of a problem towards people who aren't used to it." She added understanding if Obaara didn't want to do that either. For the most part they could probably sneak around some of the crowds of students in the area. But here, Obaara no longer had to worry nor fear the part of being left alone either.
"I wish you could meet my family I think they're all busy doing classes or helping other people out. They're a lot like me with the blue fur and demonic appearance." Cerise admitted as she frowned a bit wishing there was some way that they could at least avoid some part of their day to be together again. Last time they had taken a family portrait of everyone was at least a year or two ago as they left Xavier's room to let the older man get back to work with his things on keeping the mansion up and running. "Oh I can show you my room. I have a portrait of my family there in case you want to see them, if not I understand." She said realizing that Obaara's past wasn't as clean or safe feeling as hers was, still they did share one thing. And that was the fear of being hunted down by humans who couldn't stand the way some mutants acted. A lot of that was thanks to the defunct Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
Whne Obaara got an answer from Cerise that the mansion dose have elevators, Obaara was very relaved. "Rata." She whispered loudly in Sokovian language, with Rata meaning 'yes'. " No... i do not want to make you use your powers for me... that would not be the right thing. " Obaara said, as she smiled gently at her new friend. As they walked , a shorter male came in the room that they where walking threght. He looked in his 30's and was wearing a fairly rundown but bicker style jacket, and had a naturally tought looking appearance. The person stopped for a long second growing mildly surprised as he took a look at Obaara. "New kid, huh? Welcome to the Xavier School, bub. " He nodded and went to sit on one of the sofas. "Hello there, yes, new member is right. " Obaara relied in her Sokovian accent and then continued to follow Cerise to the elevator and up to one of the floors and to one of the rooms.
"Well my dad said I need to practice on my powers when I get the chance." Cerise said as she listened to Obaara. "I am still not that good with long distances." She added. And then something else dawned on her as Obaara was greeted by another member of the Xavier group and there were plenty of students that she was going to meet later on since she was new here. "I also forgot to tell you that I have midnight powers, as you can imagine they only work really well at night so I can't uses them in the day time at all." Cerise pointed out.
It wasn't long before they arrived on the elevator and Cerise punched in the floors above them, after they got in, the elevator whirred to life as they got to the higher floors where the rooms were. They were seperated out by boy and girl rooms for the most part. "I'm pretty sure there are some opened rooms here, you can find which one you like and then I can show you my room, it's on another area of this mansion." Cerise said as she opened up the room so Obaara could look in, luckily there were more rooms that she could choose from.
" As your have just experienced, i do not work well... i do not handle well, the teleportation. " She said, correcting herself, but still unsure if she worded that right or not. " I am learning how to use magic to open portals... for a long time, i traveled with my mom, to many places. " She smirled fondly a the memories, and then grew a little sad. "Right now, i can only make a very weak portal, even with great concentration... so my portals are not usable for fave trips yet. " Obaara said with a shy shrug. She walked to the end of the hall and as the door was open, and the room looked unused, she carefully entered. She luckily did not hate to worry about hitting her head in the doorframe, it seemed that this room was actually built for mutants who had oversized bodies. She walked into the room and was happy to find a nice sized balcony, even enught for her to talk out and turn without much trouble... but luckily the balcony was not too big. She did not want to hog the best room. She then walked into the bathroom, with also was rather large, big enught for her to move fairly freely. She turned carefully, and walked out to meet Cerise again. " This room will be perfect. " She said with a happy smile and was a little exited to have such a room. "Alright, you can take me to your room now. " She added looking down at her friend.
