Cerise had been out on an adventure by herself to try and explore a bit of New York City, she had gone out with a hologram, as a human since she knew her demonic appearance would probably scare off a lot of people. She was wearing a pink shirt with a jacket and some jean pants as she went down one of the streets. She was really enjoying it so far. The only thing probably unusual about her was her blue hair. To some it looked died, but she had her father's genetics in her blue fur and hair as well.
"This certainly is a nice place. I should come here more often." Cerise said with a smile as she wondered what had been holding her back since the last time she wanted to come here. She had often come with her friends but shied away from going into any crowds so it was often a struggle for her to get out that much. With the hologram everything changed for her. As Cerise rounded one of the corners she wasn't paying attention out there as she went and felt her body slam against someone else and as she looked up she saw her phone drop out of her hands. "I'm sorry sir, I should've watched where I was going." She said a bit embarrassed that it happened.
"Do you want to say that again kid? You just crossed paths with the wrong person to day." The guy said sounded really grump which would've made her fur stand on end. She knew that sound from her teachers when they were having a bad day but reasoning with this guy didn't make much of a change in the situation. "I'll tell you what just back off." The guy said but it wasn't long before the guy threw in a powerful punch as it struck Cerise in the shoulder. Cerise winced feeling the pain but she saw the next one coming as she instinctively got out of the way and teleported with her powers. A smell of brimstome filled the air making the guy stop in his tracks as Cerise was right behind him trying to run. Except she forgot the guy had her phone!
"Aw man!" She said with a bit of frustration now not entirely sure how'd she get her phone back. And it was too late for her now her blue fur was starting to show as the hologram projection failed.
Obaara was a little depressed and felt like she was infected with some sort of horrible virus, due to her pretty recent transformation into her current winged centaur girl. Obaara just did not feel good... her parents where dead and she was a monster, but she has been given a second chance, and as cruel of a punishments her current form was, the demon could have easily killed her as well, but did not. She was still alive. Her thoughs where interrupted by a loud, angry yell from a male. "Hey, get back here, little freak. " the male person yelled. She saw a young girl, who haid blue hair, run infront of her, towards the street where the cars where passing by. Obaara figured that the thug was after the young girl, who looked somewhat scared. She did not know if she was a thief or the victim and she did not care, this was trouble and Obaara did not like the other person being loud and agressive. "You have some problems with her? i do not care... leave! " Obaara spoke, with a slight, barely recognisable Demonic/Sokovian accent. Her accent will always remain, but it was nearly unknoticable when she was singing. The large person was holding some small device that looked like a cell, in one of his nearly fisted hands and grew wide eyed and grossed out when he saw the nearly 9 feet tall Centaur girl with flaming hands. " what the hell are you?! you freak show? you belong in a circus... now get out of my way, so i can teach the brat a lesson! " He barked, but instinctively took two steps backwards. "I said move! " he basked, sending a kick towards one of her horse legs. Obaara gasped in pain and her leg insitinctively moved after it was kicked "No... you move! " Obaara yelled, but was very scared underneath. To add meaning to her words she used some momentum and slightly rose to shove the thug away with the knees of her front legs. Her actions worked, sending the thugs falling backwards, into the sidewalk, making him drop the phone. After a few seconds to make sure that the guy was out cold, Obaara would have wanted to pick the cell from the ground, but would have been way too clumsy. Obaara called otwards the girl that was on the other site of the street, being covered in the shadows of a dimly lit area of the street. "Hey, you are okay?... This is yours? " She pointed to the cell. She did not think about how the other girl would react if she would see Obaara from upclose, the flames on her hands and her legs... around her hoofs that it... was just so natural for Obaara.

As Cerise sat there, she honestly wished she was brave like her half sister (Also from a different dimension) Talia and her brother TJ. It was clear that she didn't have a fighting spirit like any of them. But she lifted one of her blue pointed ears as she heard a commotion going on out in the nearby street where that bully was trying to get her earlier. It seems that he encountered someone else this time and he was in a surprise for his life once he saw Obaara's true form she was pretty sure she heard him scream during that but she wasn't sure about that either.
It wasn't long before the guy fell silent, he wasn't yelling anymore with that booming annoying voice. Was the coast clear? Cersie couldn't bring herself to look around the corner to watch especially with her blue form. She was a bit worried that someone else would find her like this. But luck would have it that another mutant the girl from earlier would find her first. Her hologram was still working, so she could change back into a human, but it was too late now.
Cerise turned when she thought she heard someone nearby and realized it was the girl that had gotten her phone after she dropped it earlier. She looked at Obaara through the shadows before looking at the girl, suppose the phrase 'the enemy of my enemy' came in here, they both didn't like that guy from earlier, perhaps there was a chance that they could be friends?
"Thank you." She said. And took her phone back as Oobara reached out with it. Finally she made an encouraging move to come forward and show her demonic like form as a neyaphem. Her father's group known as the Neyaphem lived in a different world and she had her grandfather as the ruler. She had never once met Azazel but it seemed that it wasn't possible. "I'm sorry I'm still a bit shaken up by what happened. I noticed you look like me...well you know what he said, a freak." Cerise said showing her blue form as an idea came to mind. "There is a place for freaks like us, it's called the X-Men. Also my name is Cerise, what is yours?" She asked not realizing at first that her name went back to one of her father's girlfriend and long time friend.

The Centaur girl let out low curse and as she clumsily kneeled down to be able to pick her phone up, and after she got back up, she walked over towards where the other girl was hidden by the dim light. the centaur girl was red from embarresment as she handed the phone over the to other girl, being ashamed of her looks. " Try to not loose it next time. " Obaara spoke with a nod and was already turning away when the other girl finally came out from the shadows. the centaur half demon stated at the blue furred person for a long second, before her face gave off a shy half smile. The girl was pretty. When the other girl spoke, she shook her head. "No, do not use the F word... it is wrong. " She frowned. " I am called Obaara... and you are not wierdo... i am. " She said with a sad frown before adding. "I do not know... you would not want me to be around. " She said with a shrug. "This place that you say is for people like us... you mean demons? I hope i would be allowed to stay for just two or three days... money to pay, is not an issue to me." Obaara said, thinking about such a hotel where demons are openly welcome... it would be the first hotel like that, and she has been in a lot of hotels in her life.

"I won't I don't loose my phone that often, I think that guy just startled me and I dropped it in the part of me teleporting." Cerise said making sure that she had a mental note of having her phone in a place where she couldn't loose it so easily. She nodded back towards the centaur girl, "My family are known as Neyaphems, we look like demons almost but we aren't...entirely." She pointed out knowing there was some human in her blood but it just was hard to say where it was exactly.
"You are more then welcome to stay and if you decide you like it there, you can stay and learn how to use your powers. I can teleport and I have midnight energy abilities." Cerise pointed out wondering if Obaara would listen to her or not. She jumped down from her sitting position and onto the ground where Obaara could see her much better.
"The X-Men take in people like us. Both my mother and father have suffered a hardship all their ives, and here there is peace. I can probably teleport you there. It is my home there and it could be yours." SHe said wondering if Obaara would listen to her or not. She put out her hand which happened to have two digets on her hands instead of five. "If you trust me that is, you'll like what you see." Cerise offered. Maybe Obaara needed some more convincing if she had photos on her phone they would certainly show a bit more of the mansion and it wasn't a hotel either. It was one massive building that held all kinds of mutants. Maybe Obaara wouldn't feel so alone there like, herself. Cerise had known that feeling too.
The centaur girl listened to what the other person said and really likes it! For once in her life, she was not intimidated by meeting somebody new, but was still embarresed. "I would be very happy to join such a place of accepting and learning. " She spoke with a fairly happy face, and in reality, it hit here that this is exactly what she wanted for so long. " A safe place. " She muttered and after it, unintensionally spoke in her native demonic language without even realizing it. After a few seconds of thinking about this great opportunity, she nodded to her and spoke English again. "I thank you for your offer and accept it. " She spoke and then added. "Not being hated for the way i look, was all i ever wanted. Most people where afraid to even come near me. of fear of being burned. " She spoke with a bitter smirk. "And to let you know... my flames will not burn you. " Obaara said, taking the hand of a stranger yes... but a stranger who was a lot like herself. She also did not want to cause trouble for Cerise but noded gently. " We could walk back to this X-Men if it is not too far? " the centaur girl asked.

"Good I'm glad you accepted." Cerise said with a soft smile as it appeared on her blue lips. Her yellow eyes shined off like cat eyes as they entered the more lit up areas. She was glad to see that Obaara finally approved. She'd be able to meet other mutants like her, and then find that she's not so alone. "Maybe you can meet my family, we all look similar with our appearance. I have a father, mother, and a brother named TJ and a sister named Talia." She said not wanting to talk about how the complications where but her mother was a blue mutant named Kymera.
"We can probably take the train without too much interaction do you have a hologram? I was lucky mine didn't get destroyed in the mix up earlier." Cerise asked. "And I understand the fire looks strong I can see how people are afraid of it." She pointed out having seen other flames before by other mutants who had it. Heck she had even known of iceman who wielded ice and could use it for his abilities before and in the past.
"Alright I'm going to change into my form you may want to do it too if you want to avoid interactions on the street with other jerks." Cerise said as she quickly activated the hologram. Another young woman appeared in her place who was about a teenager age and she had the familiar blue hair. She iked the blue hair so much she let her human form keep it since it was different and something that not too many people had before. "Just let me know when you're ready, I can probably lead you to the train station since I am good with directions." She pointed out knowing she had only been to the city a handful of times but this had been a first for being attacked like this. Just as it seemed that bad guys were all around.
" Well... i am not sure that hey would like me, but you are so very fortunate, that you have a family. " The young half demon said, referring to meeting the family of the girl, and while it really pained her to even partially remember her own parents, she had no way of changing the past. As she walked, her hoofs gave off the usual somewhat loud sound, that her hooves always made on hard surfaces, but at this point she hardly noticed it, she was so used to it. She however stopped when she saw asked, witch really surprised her and even somewhat intimidated her. "um... i can not use stairs or steps. " Obaara said growing very embarresed and humiliated all of a sudden. "My body is... not how it was. " She tried to explain to Cerise. hoping she would understand her. She then grew a little confused. "Do i have a hologram what of? like yours? no... i am unable to hide myself from others. " She said with a frown. "There is a bus stop just a few blocks from here, and from there we could go to several other places... or if you think you are able to teleport me, i hope that i am not too heavy to you. " The half demon said to her new ally. She hated being so very exposed, on ther streets, on stages, in a park... everywhere! But knew that she would never be able to change her looks... unlike Cerise... who, Obaara was a little jealous about her cloaking device.

"Trust me they would like you, Obaara my family looks like me except for my mother she has an odd image of where her skin and hair are a deep blue." Cerise said with a soft nod towards Obaara trying to get her to listen and trust her. But it seemed like that was going to be rather hard. If they tried anything, maybe Cerise would just have to take her there to the Mansion to show it.
Now to think of it, they began to walk forward as she heard Obaara's hooves clacking on the pavement. It sounded like a real horse as far as she was concerned. But it was really Obaara the whole time doing it. "You were once human at one point, weren't you?" Cerise asked with a frown. "Well the X-Men could try to help you in getting you bac to the way you were originally." Cerise said. "Many of the mutants you see were born with the powers or got them later on in life, that's how I was, I was born this way." she explained.
Cerise nodded, "I can certainly take you there just hang onto my hand or my tail even if you want." Cerise said as she came over to Obaara as she reached up. "Now get ready often when I teleport people feel a bit dizzy." Cerise added as she quickly began to start counting so Obaara could prepare and brace herself. "3....2...1 go!" She called out and with a familiar BAMF noise they disappeared in thick black smoke. Cerise concentrated on her home, the x-Mansion that she knew so well and hoped that she wouldn't mess this one up. As she opened her eyes she arrived in one piece to the mansion as the massive castle like building was infront of them. "I did it!" Cerise said with a bit of a smile.
As she walked, she listened to her new ally and smirked " Well, i was born as a half demon, in Europe. " Obaara said with a shy smile. While Sokovia was considered to not be a rich country, it was still her home, and still had good memories from her early years living there. Her family was pretty well off compared to most other families and people. " I have never met another mutant yet, only demons and other half demons... i was once much more human looking but was cursed by a very powerful demon to look like i am, currently. " Obaara said with a frown. She stopped when Cerise spoke and nodded gently. She took her soft hand, and tried to concentrate... but she did not know what to expect at all. She shut her eyes in fear. and imagined being torn to peices from the teleportation. She however soon neard the other girl say that was successfull in making the jump, but Obaara was very dizzy for a few second, and stumbled slightly. Involontarily and uninensionally her masive purple wings instantly spread out there entire wingspan, to try to make herself stable, but the world was still spinning fairly rapidly. She fell forward onher her knees. She yet out a low yell from the pain and shoot her head untill the spinning slowed greatly. After she glanec up at the massssive mansion, Obaara unintensionally spoke to Cerise in her own native Demonic language and slowly, but pretty clumsily, got back up from her half kneeling position. " Thank you for taking her me here, Cerise. " She added in English, once she was back in controll of her her dizzyness and sences. Remembering what her ally said, just a minite ago. " I actually gained my mystical fires at a young age. " She smiled softly to the other girl and then back at the large gates, hight walls to the sides, and the large mansion in the distance.
"You're welcome it sounds like you've been through a lot, though that story can be heard around the mansion if you ask certain people here." Cerise explained as she sat down in a crouching position. She no longer had to worry about the human form now since this area and the mansion was home to her. Sure enough seh'd see her brother TJ, her sister Talia and her parents. Perhaps they'd like to meet Obaara too? She hoped that everything would be alright.
"Come on we'll go through the front entrance, it looks like a lot of kids are in classes right now since it's the middle of the week. I don't see too many outside." Cerise pointed out as she began to walk through the soft grass. The grass surprisingly looked well for the cold October month that they had. And winter was right around the corner too. Slowly she began to make her way up to the large entrance and brass doors. "Let me welcome you to Xavier's School for Gifted Beings." She said as she opened the door with a loud creak. The mansion looked ancient on the inside, but as they went in the main hallway was full of items that looked up to date and there were kids busying themselves down the hallways.
"Come on I'll lead you to one of the offices of the teachers." Cerise said figuring that was one of the first places they'd go. But if she wanted to get their first they could try using one of the back passage ways seeing that there were many of them that the students used to get through the lines without being bothered. "And maybe we can see my family at some point too...they are all like myself too with the blue fur, except for my mom she just has a blue pigmentation mutation." She explained.
Obaara nodded darkly towards Cerise. "Yes, i have experienced a fair deal of very bad things. She did not mention to her new ally, that her parents where killed before her eyes, and that her home country was partially invaded by Dr. Doom when she was pre teens. "You know... life is not easy... it is not all happy and flowers for a lot of people. " Obaara said with a sad sigh, trying not to thing of how her own family died and the many people of Sokovia, who lived under a harsh political system. " On meeting a lot of people at once... i am... not... too good with that. " she said with some nervousness as she walked in the grass... witch she was unable to feel as she now had hooves. As they got to the larger front door, Cerise opened it with a nice creak. This made Obaara smile, but also tried to not smile at the same time. " Thank you... wow... this place is huge. " She smiled widely as she walked inside and after her walked inside, carefully turned around to close the door. As she was led down a hallway, she began to have dark thoughts. What if this was some trap or Ceries, here was working for the demon who changed Obaara into her current form. But on seeing a few kids and teens, Obaara was still a little intimidated and nervous but did not show it and figured that this was not some trap. " A staff member seems like the best place to start, yes " Obaara said.
"Yes this place is considered home, many mutants here are trying to find a place in the world. I'm sure you'll be the same too if you want to join us." Cerise said as she looked back at a group of people who walked by. She was trying to see if any of them had her brother TJ in them but she didn't see him. For all she knew he might be below them on the lower floors training with his own teleportation powers much like her own. Cerise was surprised herself that she had made it this way so easily in a teleportation trip that may have been dangerous. But luckily it wasn't that way at all.
As for Obaara she didn't need to worry at all. All those dark thoughts she had were nothing more than just that, a worry. Cerise came to one large brass door as she knocked on it carefully hoping to hear an answer. "This is the head master's office, he goes here to do his studies and most of his buisness work. He likes to go by the name of Professor X here." Cerise said knowing that the Professor was an older gentlemen and to most people that surprised him he used a wheelchair to get around since his legs went bad years ago. "Sir? Is it alright if I come in with a new guest? And potential member to join in?" Cerise ased. "It's me, Cerise." She said knowing that he knew her father Kurt all too well.
"Yes, you may come in and open the door." An older man's voice could be heard on the other side. Cerise looked back with her yellow eyes towards Obaara, as she nodded back to her. "He said it's alright to come in." She responded before opening the room slowly to find a large office for Professor X to move around. At his desk he was sitting there and it looked like he had been going over some important documents before filling them and putting them away for later.
Obaara listened silently to her ally and nodded. She did not know what to think or say. It felt so strange to her, meeting a total stranger and then being invited to a place where mutants and gifted people would be safe from the outside world. She listened to Cerise when she told her about the leader of the large mansion, and Obaara imagined the person to be a older and stern person, to be able to keep all the teleorters and other powers of the others kids in check. Obaara grew especially intimidated when she was given a nod to have her enter, and she started sweating slightly. She knew that sooner or later, she would definately smell like a sweating horse, she just hoped that it would happen after she would leave the office. She entered and after a longer glance at the Professor, she lowered her eyes in shame and was trying to not be just an overgrown horse. She however spoke softly. " Hello there, sir " She spoke with her usual slight Sokovian accent, and was hoping that the person would not send her away right at the start.
"Come sit down in the chairs, or stand, I got word from Cerise that you two would be coming through text messages." Professor X said as he motioned for Cerise and Obaara to come and sit down in the old ancient looking chairs. Cerise came over in her blue form as her demonic looking tail slid beside her as she sat down in one of them. She figured Obaara would rather stand at this point.
"Yes I am grateful that Obaara came when she did sir, she was the one who got that bad guy to stop after all that. And she got my phone too." Cerise said with a soft smile but she was also shy, even she had to admit that she was shy around Xavier. But she knew he had a good heart inside him. There probably wasn't that a bad bone in his body.
"Is that so?" Xavier asked. "Well then that's a bit of a surprise." He said. He tapped his desk for a bit as he planned on thinking of something or how to phrase this next complicated part of the problem that would come at hand. "Why don't I just cut to the chase, and get to the important matters, Obaara. since I am the leader of the X-Men I was thinking that it was a good idea that you join our team of X-Men. You'd be able to have your own room, we can train you to be a super hero and learn to work with others who have gifts like yourself. You were able to work with Cerise from the sounds of it." Xavier said.
"She is something called a Neyaphem a demonic like creature that descends from the Brimstone dimension, or where her grandfather resides as a ruler there." Xavier explained. He figured that was enough to talk about just now. "So what do you say? Do you want to join?" He asked as the man waited patiently for Obaara to come up with answer. Even Cerise felt a bit on edge but perhaps it was just the fact that Xavier was there, she felt just as intimidated.
