Miguel had come from a busy day of training and he came out of the training room rather tired but he was ready for more if they wanted him back. He had dawned his red and blue spider man suit, far different from Spider-Man's or Scarlet Spider's but he didn't seem to mind as it looked different. Most people he knew often could recognize him as he went by Spider-Man 2099. The 2099 part meant that he had been from a different time. On his mind recently he had been thinking about Brandi and their encounter earlier hoping that she would be alright and would be safe from anything that came her way. Seeing that she hunted demons it was something that he wasn't so sure he could follow that trend. In his time there were only myths and legends about ghosts, no one was really sure or even aware that they existed.
"I hope Brandi's alright." He said not realizing that he liked her a bit more than that. He took his mask off showing some brown hair and he put on some sunglasses. he was a bit photophobic so even being in a bright room like he was in now was something he couldn't handle all that well. It was an unfortunate thing that he suffered from.
"Maybe I'll go and check on her once I have an opening, I'm supposed to teach a defensive class later on today." Miguel offered. He sighed wondering if he'd even see her through here. Recently he had seen Nova and Scarlet Spider. The two seemed like they were doing alright for the most part. They acted their usual, he considered them to be friends at this point in time.
"I hate to say it but I'm too tired to move." He grumbled as he sat down on one of the nearby chairs as he tried to catch his breath. When SHIELD really trained you or you had a session you really felt it for the most part. He wasn't ready for another one. The SHIELD hellicarrier was busy as always. People where coming in and out some stopped to chat with others they knew. But for the most part, Miguel didn't recognize anyone as he kept to himself and checked his phone.

Brandi had long month of full of her latest mission she looked exhausted and she was dirty but she didn't care as she collapsed at her desk.She had specks of blood on her uniform and her arm was bandaged. she had a fight a some kind of giant monster in the alaska that had been killing people and animals.She didn't even notice Miguel nearby the one guy she actually had a crush on she was much too shy to admit it though.She had her eyes half closed she was trying to keep herself from sleeping because she had paperwork to do.
She worked really hard and and would probably argue if she was told to rest.She had actually notebook full of that could possible transferred into digital copies in the future where she probably really old. She had sketches and notes on the piles and also her stories what happened during her trip.She actually worked hard for Shield despite people who don't believe in that kind of stuff having her a hard time.

Miguel looked up after a bit of texting to some friends or even other members of the SHIELD agency so he knew what was going on at the moment. He looked in spotting Brandi coming in and saw the blood on her shirt. What had she been up too? He noticed that they both were looking rather tired as far as he was concerned. Maybe she needed some one to talk too? He picked up his phone and put his mask back on, not that it mattered around here. "Heay Brandi is everything alright? I noticed there was blood on your shirt." Miguel responded.
"Also I don't think we've fully introduced each other either." Miguel added. "My name is Spider-Man 2099 or Miguel O'hara by my civilian name." He said taking off his mask deciding that she might as well deserved to see his face at this point. He showed his longer brown hair and brown eyes. Unlike Scarlet Spider there were no scars on his face but obvious signs that the spider dna had done some changes to him like sharp fanged teeth and damaging his vision a bit from the photophobia.

Brandi looked towards Miguel with her eyes half close and she tried look more " hey.. yea.....everything is fine..."She was used to people knowing her name.She actually already knew his actually without him telling but it was great to finally official meeting the person she actually had crush but this was not her greatest moment because she looked like crap.
She looked tried to smiled towards him softly " its nice to finally meet you Miguell......I...am sorry if you had see me this way."She could barely speak at moment which would confused most guys that don't know what she was doing.The fact was it was kind obvious that she had crush on him by the way she was looking him.She has liked him for awhile but she never got the courage to actually speak to but this was the chance but she just couldn't at moment.

"It's alright, it looks like you could use a break or even some rest. Which I think wouldn't hurt." Miguel pointed out knowing they had both looked like they had a rough couple of days. "But it's nice to meet you as well, Brandi. I wish we had met sooner. I guess we were just in different times and in different places." He said noticing that she looked bad and probably felt bad as well as he nodded.
"Well if you ever want to go anywhere or out to the city sometime you can always text me with my phone and ask. I'm usually free most weekends." Miguel offered wondering if he was doing the right thing talking to her like this. She seemed shy and didn't want to talk at all. Finally he took off his mask showing the brown hair underneath but with this he put his sunglasses back on his face knowing that the light even in the room was far too bright. "Er..." He found himself at a loss for what to say at first and felt like he was making it awkward. "I guess it's getting awkward." He finally admitted.

Brandi smiled little bit towards him looked and thought about and shook her head towards him"...no you're fine Miguel....you know yea I need a break she quickly stacked her paperwork.She then looked towards him for bit " you know ...I...i..kind been wanting tell you something....I..irk......ki ike ou......"She was blushing like crazy she actually haven't done this in while at least for sometime.She wanted to go somewhere with him and everyone was staring at them.
She suddenly noticed she was being stared at she gets more embarrassed she was kind of stuttering mess at moment.She then placed her face into her and then looked up towards him.She wouldn't blame him if he just walked away since she was making fool of herself.She knew this was actually pretty awkward for the both of them and she doesn't even know if he felt the same.She kind of stared down towards her desk blankly not saying anything else as her heart was kind of pounding.

Miguel was stunned at first at what he thought he heard Brandi say. Did she say she liked him? Not once had he attempted to get a girlfriend in his life, the whole Spider-Man thing in his time was complicated as is. But it might work out here if he tried hard enough. "You like me?" He asked repeating what she said and not entirely sure what to say. Miguel liked her back, he realized and she was a very nice girl when you got to know her. Sure she could be serious at times, but so was he when it came to his own work. "I guess the same could be said for me to you. I like you too Brandi." He pointed out.
"Well once you recover, can I take you out to the movies and dinner or something? That way we can spend a bit more time not worrying about our jobs here." Miguel offered wondering if Brandi would like that or not. He still felt silly talking about this but he was glad that they were finally getting through to each other. Plus there was the other end where they could work together. It would be interesting working with a spider and a demon hunter. Sam had told him a few things about Brandi but he'd have to discover it for himself one day.

Brandi was lightly blushing she actually can't believe that he actually liked her back and didn't just decide to walk away from her weird behavior.She just shook her head because she wasn't injured all that bad in her opinion even though she was really tired as well.She actually wanted to go out somewhere so when he offered to go out dinner and to see a movie she thought that she just had to jump at that opportunity she didn't actually eat yet because she had wanted to go straight to work on her report but that could happen later.
She was actually what is known as workaholic if she started to do something she didn't like to stop until she got that done but even at times she has to be told that she has to rest sometimes.The fact was she was know as a very serious person must of the time and didn't really have a personal sense of humor but she was actually trying her best to be funny sometimes because she wanted more people to be friends with her and finally get someone she loves a boyfriend.She took a few moments to answer him because she didn't know how to react this but she hopped this was the right way " how about we go now I am actually pretty hungry and wouldn't mind a movie "

Miguel smiled glad to see that she approved of going out to the movies and seeing something interesting. There were usually a lot of movies to choose from so it'd be good to get off of SHIELD and they could see more of this time. "Sounds good to me. How about we get a fresh change of clothing and meet at Central Park?" Miguel offered, knowing the blood stain on Brandi's shirt probably wasn't helping all too much and it might be a bad idea going as Spider-Man 2099 and attract a bad guy to them without meaning it.
"I'll probably take one of the motorcycles that SHIELD has in storage to get there or walk whatever works to meet you there." Miguel offered knowing that it would take a little bit to get there. But he was glad that they could finally meet each other and admit that they both liked each other. He nodded back to brandi agreeing that he hadn't eaten yet either so maybe going to dinner could work out for the both of them. "Oh and you can pick what restaurant you want to go to. I don't know if I could pick just one." Miguel offered knowing there were plenty of it.

Brandi smiled little bit and then went to go ready for her first date in while since she never really had time for anyone.Brandi never really had the time for other people when she was younger and she would usually tried to chase them away" ok i will be waiting for you then " she said.The reason she had been so against having a guy actually be with was because of something really bad that happened with her first partner he was murdered by a humanoid demon known as Caleb Darkwind.
Brandi was not too kleen on talking about it but it was in records that she actually had to kill him after he was turned into one of his minions in a horrible way.Caleb made his a man that came back after years and caused an attack on the streets of new york but with the help of her best friends they managed to take him down and had him placed in shield lock up. The event happened before she was imprisoned but he hasn't appeared lately which was a good thing.She just hoped that he didn't decide to change his mind about the and just leave her hanging there.

It wasn't long before MIguel came out wearing his civillian clothing as he met up with Brandi a few minutes later. His own past had been rough like Brandi's. yet there was one big family secret that hadn't been let out, only one that his parents knew of. He had been the child of Tyler Stone who was a big buisnessman of the world of 2099 but his true father was something of a jerk and unkind to many if he met the man and knew the secret there would be some serious problems later on. But for now he was just fine with being apart of the O'hara family.
"Heay Brandi are you ready to go now? I'm back." Miguel said as he had worn his typical blue and purple sunglasses. "And about the sunglasses I don't see very well out in lit up areas, even with the sun. I'd be walking blind without them." Miguel admitted knowing that would be a severe weakness on him later on. "So where do you want to go?" He asked as he adjusted his glasses knowing that there were many places to eat in the central part of New York City.

Brandi didn't really mind the sunglasses and wasn't going to ask about them . She won't ask him any kind of personal questions unless he invited her and it will be the same with her if he wanted to know anything that he couldn't simply look up.The fact was she was very private person expect when it came to people she feels that she could fully trusted. The list of people was pretty low and two of them was Sam Alexander and the director himself if he ever wanted her to share anything with them.
She smiled little not caring now he is dress and when he asked where she wanted to go she wanted to go to her favorite pizza place" I would like to go The Loop if that still exist if not take me anywhere that sounds good" She knew it only been ten years since she was imprisoned but she also knew that places like that usually have possibly to close.She sits there on the back of hover-bike and waited for him.She wanted this date to he perfect and hopped that villains or even demons didn't ruin her first date with him.

"Yes the Loop is still around last I checked. Though not sure if it is there if it is in my time." Miguel admitted. He nodded back to Brandi understanding if she wanted to go there. He wouldn't object and pizza sounded pretty good to him right about now also. As she moved over he got onto the hover bike. These weren't unheard of in his time, in fact they were pretty common almost used by everybody it seemed like. "Pizza sounds good. I'm sure you find it easy to believe but they have pizza in my time too." Miguel said with a bit of a chuckle as he tried to make it a joke.
Once he was on they were starting to hover into place, the sites and sounds of New York could be heard. It was certainly something that reminded him of home. He missed 2099 on occasions and often went to visit it. Though when Brandi was ready he wanted her to come with him. He trusted her with this time warping, and not too many people would get used to the idea that fast. It was complicated. "To be honest I'm not sure where it is exactly I've only been there once or twice." He admitted as he moved some of his brown hair out of the way.

She smiled little bit towards him she was actually very hungry and now she gets to spend some time with someone she had a crush on for the longest time and didn't get to admit that she actually liked him. The fact was Miguel was first person in awhile that she ever dated because of the demon hunter thing she had to keep as far way from people since she was like a huge target for demons and vampires.She wanted a break for change and she just hopped that her and Miguel can be happy together.
The main demon she had to deal with was the one named Caleb Darkwind he was one of the dangerous demons that she was faced in her time as the demon huntress along with some very powerful ones. She had a lot of stories to tell but she mostly had to keep it secret since most of her missions are meant to be classified and she isn't suppose to tell anyone asides the ones that are involved.She then smiled responds to him with smile on her face "The place was pretty great pizza and soup in my opinion and they also have other stuff like salads and shakes" She would love to be able to travel to the future she would think that was pretty awesome and if he ever invited her she would accept right way not caring what could happen.

For the most part of Miguel's life he had a hard time with it and there was something else that he didn't know about, a dark secret that was meant to be that way even for him. Regardless, he would become the Spider-Man of the 2099 world and not even really want it at first. He had thought about retiring since there wasn't a need for super heroes, but after accidentally stumbling to this world by accident he saw just how much super heroes were needed.
He nodded back towards Brandi as he heard her mention how the pizza shop had other things that were good to eat. He had only been there a handful of times, but that wasn't enough to try everything that they had on their menus. "I might try a shake or a salad I think I stopped in there for a slice of pizza or even a sandwhich at one point." Miguel said. "So are we ready to head down to the city? It sure looks pretty clear out, not a cloud in the sky." Miguel said and no surprise there he wasn't afraid of heights. "Where I live it's awfully hard to breath the city is really high up in the sky compared to the present. There are lots of differences of course." Miguel said knowing he had noticed some differences and as well as some similarities.
