Family Gatherings (Katherine)

[Kaine Riley-Parker]

Kaine had a busy day at work and left the kids with a baby sitter, they weren't enterly alone for the most part, he had given the pay to his niece May Parker who was looking for some work and she was pretty good with kids. "Thanks May you're free to go." Kaine said as he arrived through the front. "I hope they weren't that big of a trouble for you." Kaine said as he looked at Peter's daughter. She almost looked just like him, infact she was known around these parts as Spider-Girl. "They were nothing I couldn't handle, Kaine thanks again for letting me baby sit them, I'll do it any time while you're away again." She said as she picked up her things and left. As she left Kaine checked on the kids seeing that they were sleeping in the room, the room was nice and tidy with the toys put back in their normal way, it was clear May had taken great care in what she had been doing here.

Since he was done with work, he had invited Katherine over if she wanted to come and visit the two kids and himself. He knew she wanted to spend time and probably spoil them so he sent her a text message, "Heay Kat I'm back at the apartment and May is done with her baby siting. I trust her far more than anyone else. Feel free to come over when you want." Kaine said as he was done he undressed from his Scarlet Spider suit and began to watch some Tv on the news. He knew he could cook some dinner for them with some simple things like pasta but he wasn't exactly a great cook like you saw on TV all the time.

"As usual Spider-Man is to blame for the recent attacks of villains down town even for Stark's wedding things are up in flames and sources point to him that he was involved in it." This got Kaine mad as he rolled his eyes and his scarred eye seemed to be showing how much anger he was dealing with right now with that news reporter. "Really? Why do I even bother. I get mad when they blame spider heroes like this." Kaine said as he changed the channel hoping that the anger would go away soon. Or it was back to training on the roof again for him.

When she got there she was just just finished with her classes for she had been working all day and wanted to come see Kaine for awhile. She was making arrangements of moving in with him and luckily he actually texted and called her to come over.She smiled little bit and texted him back sending a cat emoji playing with a ball with message" alright then I will be right there Kaine I Am done with classes " She and him have spoke about he just moving with him and she thought it was time that she actually did.She and him have a very close bond and they are both are able to comfort each other and now they have two children to take care of.

She had spoiled them to point of buying them all kinds of toys and brand new clothes within the weeks of getting them.The children were pretty smart and they have amazingly learn to talk in semi full sentences.She wanted to be even closer to him and not have to travel just to visit them.She arrived there on her motorcycle and then walked towards the door and then knocked when she was allowed him she greeted with a hug and a kiss " hello Kaine Dear.it smells great in here." She had saw the news and knew that Kaine won't be too happy the John Jameson is always saying bad things about all the Spider people and mostly Spider Man being one of his favorite people to insult.She was trying her best not to mention the news because that was not a good idea.

"Heay there Katherine and welcome back." Kaine said as he didn't mind the kiss at all. In fact she was one of the few who he allowed to get that close besides the boys. He didn't like to be hugged or even being held with someone else's hand, especially if it was someone he didn't know. "Yeah I let May Parker babysit the children here, she did a great job if you ask me. I thought they would've been a lot to handle for her, but she has a knack for kids." Kaine admitted knowing that it was a bit close to the family too. Technically May Parker was his niece and Ben Parker was also his nephew from Peter, but he wasn't sure if he was going to accept that idea just yet.

"The kids are sleeping in the guest room, I think May wore them out more than I expected." He said but he was trying to smile for the three, with the news going on about the Spiders he knew that was going to be hard to forgive and he hated the news guy for being so cranky about the spiders. Hadn't he figured out by now that they were good guys? Well...most of them were anyways. "I really hate that guy." He said with a grumble. "It seems like no matter what the Web Warriors, do we managed to it never impresses everyone." Kaine said with a sigh wondering if all the work they had done for nothing. They even lost Anya Corazon in the earlier parts of the Web Warriors. Or at least that was what he thought. Maybe he was wondering if they should meet Katherine for starters, Miguel O'Hara was one of the Web Warriors who belonged to a future time, which Kaine found hard to believe. Apparently he had been from the time 2099.
