PERSONALITY Between herself and her brother Azari, Becka is certainly the most prone to intense emotions and more feral states than that of her brother, who is far calmer among them. She has a far more rage filled, anger prone personality that makes itself known in a quick temper and harsh tone that she sometimes cannot help but show. She is emotional and has difficulty holding back her emotions, much less hiding them when the time calls for it. In fact, she is more likely to express how angered, upset, or furious she is within the blink of an eye. Becka is not an inherently horrible person, but rather shares much of the same personality as her mother and father. She is very much a compassionate person with a big heart, who cares for others around her to the point she is sometimes seen as very much like her mother. She is always willing to lend a hand for those in need or who need someone to hear their troubles and shares her father's strong sense of justice and honor. Such traits she inherited and was raised with are not entirely lost behind the Savage side of herself and are in fact what shine through the most to those who actually get to know her. She even shares a bit of calmness seen in her parents and brother, but has a harder time maintaining this state from time to time. Truth be told, Becka is slightly more vocal than her family, not being afraid to state her mind without considering the full consequences. She is a bit more crude and brutal in her words, if even a bit more open but her feral personality tends to be the real cause for these moments. She feels some guilt for this however, and tends to feel isolated since she does not wish to hurt someone close to her but she can still be protective and strong willed, no matter what side she shows. HISTORY Becka is the youngest child of T'Challa and Ororo Munroe, born two years after her brother Azari, the current heir to the Wakandan throne. She was born in Wakanda during the time that things had begun to wind down for the heroes and villains and things seem to fall into a peaceful state for the world. Thus, she was partly raised in a relatively calm palace, attended to by royal servants and her parents when they could be there, both doting on their young daughter as much as their son. Her first two and a half years were lived here in Wakanda and sometimes in the United States among the X-men when Ororo took her children to visit her friends and teammates. Unfortunately, during a visit to the United States enroute to Avengers Tower, T'Challa's long time enemy Klaw attacked the family unexpectedly with a group of men under his employment, causing confusion and chaos, allowing one of his men to take the young princess and escape. Their task complete, the men took her to two Savage Land Mutates who sought revenge against the teams as a price for past perceived wrongs against them and she was taken to the Savage Land to be raised there. Her time spent in the Savage Land allowed Becka to learn how to survive in the wild, learning the life of the tribes there by battling dinosaurs, hunting, and handling herself in a fight long before her mutations would set in. But it was at the age of ten that her primal powers began to show, seeing the Savage Mutates abusing one village in the vicinity of where she lived and like many was fed up with them causing so much pain and hurt. As revenge, she lashed out in a feral rage against them, causing their minions to take off with shock and fear, giving chase until she fell to exhaustion and passed out. From then on, she was seen as a fierce warrior and someone who could be viewed as a hero in her own right to the tribes living in the prehistoric land. Sadly, she never fully learned to control this feral state and felt somewhat isolated since this feralness was beyond most normal people in the Savage Land. But, in a particularly brutal skirmish between the tribes and the SAvage Land Mutates when Becka was fourteen, she wound up unleashing a different power in her feral rage, making use of a terrible storm with subconscious, primal proficiency to force their enemies away but also drawing the attention of those who had been to the prehistoric land before. Seen as unnatural, the source of the storm was investigated, especially by Storm herself who sensed the disturbance and all were shocked to come across Becka a week later who approached them with caution. It was a shocking but tender moment as mother and daughter found themselves recognizing one another almost immediately, despite Becka's faint memories she still had a faint recollection of her mother. After this finding, she agreed to return home to Wakanda as the best way to begin transitioning back to civilization but the past year has been rough since she has been use to the wilds and feels more at home in the Wakandan jungles than the concrete one of New York where she has also been learning to adjust to among the newer generation of Avengers. Powers Atmoskinesis: Like her mother Storm, Becka has a deeply empathic, psionic connection to the weather to the very point that mother nature can reflect her own mood. She shares a near-precise control over most of the elements of water, electricity, wind, and temperature control. She can control water currents, water flow, and trigger rain storms to causing the wind to become completely bent to her will of causing hurricanes, tornadoes, or vortexes, channel air currents, and create blades or gusts of wind, even to a precise control of the air in someone's lunges. This power gives her the ability to allow her to fly with strong enough air currents. She also can control and generate lightning and electricity, one of her preferred elements as it feels just as raw and wild as her primal state. Primal Phyisology: Like Azari and her father, Becka has some influence form the Panther Goddess in the form of her own feline-like mutation that is triggered when she is upset or angered, causing her to go into a primal, primitive state she cannot always control. This results in elongated fangs and claws, pointed ears, orange eyes, black tattoo-like markings appearing on her body, and her hair standing on end when she goes into this state. This state also gives her the following powers: +Superhuman Strength: Becka gains greater strength than in her not angered state, coming to be able to lift 15 tons with ease, being more than capable of lifting and throwing a small car. This strength extends into her legs, allowing her powerful jumps and leaps or greater force behind her kicks. +Superhuman Stamina: Becka's body will produce less fatigue toxins in her body, allowing her to last through longer periods of time in not needing rest, food, or drink for a few days in her normal state. In her savage state, she can last almost a week to two weeks without concern but will exhaust herself after. +Keen Senses: In her savage state, Becka's senses become heightened to the point of rivaling a panther. She can easily catch smells others would not or track it for several miles, even if its a few days old, and can hear things from roughly 3 and a half miles away. Her taste is likewise heightened to the point she can distinguish different flavors and "taste" scents to help further distinguish things. This however is only triggered in her feral state. +Claws/Fangs: In her savage state, Becka's canines become elongated and her nails elongate to hard, durable claws capable of tearing through bone and sinew, rocks, and weak metals. She uses this most especially in close combat to cause some serious damage. Weaknesses +Savage Persona: When Becka goes into her primal state, it becomes harder for her to maintain her humanity and sense of self. She becomes easily enraged and quite feral, to the point that she cannot tell friend from foe and will attack anyone close to her. Though it takes sometime, Becka will eventually calm down but becomes fairly drained or passes out from using so much of her energy. +Control: Due to her feral nature, Becka is a lot more aggressive and out-spoken compared to her family, which tends to greatly affect her abilities as it can trigger the weather to change or begin to and her Primal state can begin to activate against her will. This triggers subconscious events that can risk those around her, including the environment and doing so has caused situations to become out of her control. +Limited Area: Though Becka shares her mother's ability to control the weather, she has a far more limited range than that of Storm. She is capable of affecting an area of 30-40 miles four roughly an hour, and anything from 10-20 for two to three hours. Though she can extend this range, it puts a heavy mental and physical toll on her and could cause her to pass out. +Modern Civilization: Though born in one of the most technologically advanced civilizations in the world, Becka was raised in the Savage lands after being kidnapped as a child. Therefore, being around such cities as New York, technology, and other modern concepts has made her rather uncomfortable and confused. She is learning quickly thanks to time spent in Wakanda, but she still is not particularly fond of the modern world and is still struggling to adapt to it. +Enhancements: Though Becka is enhanced by the connection she has with the Panther God, her enhancements are currently limited to strength and stamina, and these tend to only be Enhanced attributes in her normal state. They only reach superhuman levels, including her senses, when she is in a primal state and her claws and fangs cannot be accessed unless she is in this state as well. Password here:Cosmos |
