Melati didn't exactly have much to say about the Wakandan warriors, or the city itself. She just wanted to avoid them at all costs or being delayed any further from her target than she already was. They had a cargo to deliver to Wakanda right? So perhaps they could slip by without concern, or the spiders could be a distraction at the very least while Melati could sneak away. In place so thickly grown such as Wakanda and her green scales she could certainly almost completely blend in without issue.
"How about less talking boys, you are-" Melati was cut off when Kaine said duck, catching the sound of something whizzing towards them. By reflex she let herself free fall backwards on the branch she had landed upon, her tail curling around the limb so she could remain in the trees but still see towards the ground and avoiding another spear in her general direction. So much for avoiding trouble. 'I knew sticking with these bozos would get me in trouble, now I really may not have to play nice.'
"I knew sticking with you spiders would get me delayed, I don't have time for this." Melati snarled, her voice having an animalistic edge to it as she drew her guns from her back as she hung on the branch, firing several warning shots at the Wakandan warriors' feet and around them. They were not intended to be kill shots, merely a distraction. Soon as she fired off the last shots she used her tail to swing over to the next branch, landing with relative ease and placing the weapons on her back in their holsters, "Sorry boys, but I make my own path from here. Glad you're alive and all but your problem isn't mine." Melati told them, giving a two finger salute towards them before she made her way through the trees to escape.
