Hello and welcome to Marvel: The Next Generation. This is a short and small guide to inform new members how to get started.
1. Reading
Unfortunately there is some degree of reading that you have to do to become familiar with the board. Please read the Plot and the site rules in order to get familiar with how things work around here.
2. Sign up!
If you've decided to join our forum then congratulations! You need to sign up with a main oc account and then sign up with your characters. So if you join as Spider=Man you can do it two ways. You can sign up as Peter Parker or by Pete's super hero name Spider-Man. Just make sure that your canon isn't taken, and if it is please find someone else to use! You can find the canon characters here.
3. Application
We all know that applications are long and sometimes tedious, but they are required so we get to know the members on the forum and how their characters work. We have at least 1 application running. Once you are done please wait at least 2 days before asking or pming someone. We understand that waiting is sometimes long and annoying but it is just how we do things around here. If your application isn't taken care of or finished within a week's time without any notice of what happened to the player, we will drop your character and post it in the archived sections.
**You will also need a password in order to complete the application or the staff WILL NOT approve it.
4. Approval
If there aren't any mistakes in your app the admin will post an approved sign under your application and move it to the SHIELD database. Once your character has been approved, you will be able to roleplay! Also depending on what group you chose, the admins will place your name under a fancy color so we know what affiliation you're under.

That wasn't so bad now was it? Go ahead and have some fun out there and start roleplaying!
